Idk what this is but
http://filesmelt.com/downloader/11-1...---_Messy2.png
Some project I'm working on that just doesn't compare to any of the others.
Critique would be appreciated though ^-^
Edit: I know the font is crappy. it needs to be changed

It looks weird to me, but in a pleasant way.
I wouldn't cut their legs so harshly though

@Jasmine: K, I'll try and fix that if i can :3
@Operative: Is that good or bad? :P
I just might scratch this and start over, seeing I'm not really satisfied with this at all.

@Shy - I don't know. One of the iconic Christmas images I have in my head and that I've always wanted to make was a store front window with kind of a Norman Rockwell feeling to it. Sort of like that scene from the very beginning of "A Christmas Story." I think your work looks like a Guild Wars take on that. I personally kind of like it, but it really depends on what you're going for.

@Operative - K, thanks for the input ^^
But to be honest, I just want to get an honorable mention like everyone else, so I'd like your personal opinion: Do you think this is honorable mention quality? Cuz if not, Imma just start over with a new one :3
Edit: Also any critiques?

@Operative 14: I have one tip for your pic. I live close to a forest like that and there are two things that happens when the trees are that dense; there's less snow falling under them, and those pines have roots, if you made some detailing there it would probably do kinda much in realism.

Indeed. My next major update for that image will focus on the ground. Up until now I've just been trying to block in the major elements so I could get to work on the finer details. Though I hadn't even thought of the roots!
@Shy - I think one thing that might count against it is that it is not very Guild Warsy. While the brick backdrop and the middle elements sort of blend into a Norman Rockwell-esque feeling, that makes it a nice Christmas picture, but not really a Wintersday picture, if that makes any sense.

Omg...this tonic is way better then the mini pet or w/e from the Halloween contest this year. It's kinda inspiring me to make something now although my chances of actually winning would be pretty slim compared to other artists. =P

Tbh, I'd rather try to win something that has a connection to GW2 (e.g. a minipet), but yeah, the tonic is still awesome.
