I have 2 ideas I'm trying to decide between... If I can't make up my mind, I might make both THEN decide which one to send in. :P
Thanks for setting up a gallery for me Verene.
Tzu, have fun!! ^_^

Done! You should maybe consider making a progress gallery on Verene's site soon. Or should I link to your dA gallery? Don't have to if you don't want to of course, just thought you might've forgot.

thanks!
I thought about putting it into a folder on my Photobucket, don't really feel too much like making another account somewhere. If that's ok... if you'd rather I make one of those others, I will tho

@Tzu/Verene: I won't need the progress gallery on under-the-gun.org (but thanks for setting it up!) because I can't upload mp3s there.
I feel bad for not being able to donate, but I gave away all I had for some of the Halloween events.
EDIT: Have fun at wherever you're going, Tzu, and thanks for the comment!

I'll probably do a photo-manipulation this year. I had an idea last year but I went with the whole grenth vs ice ethers thing instead. It's more humor than art though, and hopefully it won't be against the rules since it'll kinda be mimicking another popular pocket monsters game...(cough).
But, we'll see. =P

Back OT:
Went to my local art store earlier on today to cost up supplies for a RL painting. Bearing in mind I have none of my old art tools (gave them all to the kids next door when I went to Uni as I hadn't touched anything for 2 years by that point) and would have to start from scratch... well lets just say I'll be sticking to digital stuff.
Idea 1: Was going to be Dwayna and Grenth on the Wintersday battlefield. Dwayna is giggling to herself while hiding behind a snowman, having just hit Grenth in the side of the head with a snowball. Grenth is none too happy and is looking for Dwayna while conjuring up Yellow Snow to chuck back at her. Probably won't persue this one.
Idea 2: Banquet of heroes. Imagine a quiet corner of the Hall of Heroes, decked out for Wintersday with trees and a massive banquet laid out for a selection of guests. The 6 Gods are on the head table, Dwayna and Melandru are pulling crackers, Lyssa tries to get Balth under the mistletoe while Kormir is getting more wine off the Ghostly Hero (well someone has to work ) and Grenth is looking upset as he can't eat. Amongst the guests are some of the fallen heroes of Tyria - Togo, Rurik, Mordakai (and other assorted Ascalon's Chosen members), Saidra, Archemorus and Saint Viktor. This is the one I will probably go with as theres the potential to have a lot more fun with it. Working on composition atm.
Off the back of Narcissia's idea, I've also decided to try and create the Hall of Monuments out of gingerbread. This won't be an entry, I was going to give making a house a go this year anyway. My bf has already called dibs on making Gwen's Garden out of icing. I worry a little at times.

Tzu - have fun!
You're welcome, Minami And okay, Shewmake, but I'll keep it there just in case you do decide you need it for something. MP3 uploads I really can't help much with though, sorry!
Everyone who's registered has a gallery set up as of now, so yay.
And you don't need to use my site, Morag, I think Tzu just wants everyone to have a progress archive (as a just in case sort of thing) and I have the resources to help with that. If you don't want to make a gallery there you don't need to

Have fun Tzu, where ever you are going!
@Dewshine Wildclaw: That's a very nice start. What sort of idea are you going for? The elf/ranger? looks so cute! I think her pretty face would stand out more if you framed it with hair. I know that normally your hair doesn't show up from under the hats, but this is an artwork so you're allowed to be more creative. It's up to you though... it looks pretty good like this too.
Also, her arm looks a bit short compared to rest of her body. A good way to check if it's anywhere near the normal length of an arm is to check if the distance between elbow and shoulder is the same as the distance between shoulder and waistline. In this case, her elbow is way too up. Otherwise the proportions of her upper body are perfectly drawn, so you can try to imagine where her waistline would be and draw the elbow somewhere nearby.
If you have a hard time imagining where it would be (since your paper doesn't stretch that far), just tape another paper underneath your drawing, draw the waistline and rest of the arm on the new paper as if it was just a continuation of your original paper, and then just remove the extra paper once you have your actual drawing worked out.
Hope that helped! Lovely drawing so far, can't wait to see it progress.
@Tasha: Oooooooh, banquet of heroes sounds fancy. :3 And very, very exciting, here's looking forward to seeing first sketches!
