(Please don't feel bad if I haven't 'specially' picked your character to draw-- it's not that I don't like your armor, hair, face, etc. My inspiration comes very very randomly. In this case, I wanted to practice with a different set of colors and Allianora was very convenient for it.)

Side note: messed up a bit on the lighting again! I keep changing my mind mid-pic.. xD

Hahaha-- well currently it's almost summer break-- uni ends early. It's study period right now. I'm doing art instead of..studying. xD

Well I for one would certainly be interested in getting a commission (or better, doing an art trade) sometime this summer when you're free (I'll probably be setting up shop with my newfound free time, too, and'll hopefully have enough k's to afford such things).

Mad Froggy progress:

Step 1: Quick sketch/lineart. Again, not even close to perfect. (time~10 min)

Step 2: Begin coloring head. I do blocky bottom colors first before detailing. As you can see, the middle of the head is pretty much done in details. (time~20 min)

Step 3: Head almost complete. I also added a plain background. I hope Mad Froggy doesn't mind because I think I went a little artistic license on the dragon mask. The jaw is purposefully left incomplete because I will cover it up. Usually it's a good idea to draw it anyway, but I'm taking shortcuts xD (time~30 min)

Step 4: Body, almost done. Last update-- colored the body, and now I'm going to add something predictable to finish it up and add some more color variation to the background.

(time~10 min)

COMPLETE!

Total time ~1 hr 40 min
