Well, technically anybody can use any bit of character art and tell people it's their character. Of course if you ran it by the artist or the person who went through the trouble to claim it, and said, "but no, this is mine" you'd just get laughed at. But that's just the risk with digital art. In the beginning of this thread I used to put a big ugly watermark over the picture and once someone claimed it, I would put their character name on the picture, but the way security is these days, nobody wants to post that info. Plus, I started this picture in November and it's been 80% finished for months. I'm not sure if I plan to continue with these, so I was less concerned with formality and more just taking care of unfinished business.
