Another Guild Wars Poster
Hey guys,
So a while back ive made a poster for my wall with all my characters on it.
This was it
And now ive designed a new one, with all characters updated and i think an awesome background, with some quotes from the game. This poster is a bit more pixelated as i increased its resolution a fair bit in order to have it printed with better results then the last poster.
So here it is
Tell me what you think

The one thing that irks me about them is that the Guild Wars logo isn't resized properly, too stretched one way (or squished the other way, depending how you look at it).

Sorry, but IMHO, cutting out pictures of your characters and the game logo, and pasting them on a screenshot, isn't much of a poster or anything art-like. As a private project it's fine, but as something you want other people to see, I find it rather uninterresting.

Well thats your opinion, and i respect that, but to me this qualifies as art in its own way, it may be a bit simple, but art doesnt have to be overly complicated.
Im not that good on photoshop so i tend to keep things simple while still enjoying making such a thing, cutting out the characters is bad enough :P

He/she asked for people's opinion on the art,not if they are interested.
For example,I find Mona Lisa rather boring, uninteresting, and dull. BUT the art in it is espectacular,in my opinion.
He/she isn't trying to sell the poster, but get people's opinion on its ART.
And mine opinion is that the art in both on them is good

Hell that's a lot of erasing Kudos on that lol. Characters dull next to eachother isn't really my thing though. Have you tried to get them using stances and such (monk casting, warrior attack stuff like that)? There once was a wallpaper of someone who did the same as you but bulked them up, all doing something (casting, emote) some from different angles, was quite cool, maybe something for you to try next.
Besides that, I think (like you already stated) the stroke around the characters is too pixelated. I would either duplicate the layer and put a blurred one behind it (filter>blur>gaussian blur) so you get a smoother edge, or maybe no stoke but a glow around them?
Overall duplicating layers gives you the possibilty to make the quality of your characters alot better. You can duplicate and blur (behind the original layer or on front at low opacity), you can make a layer on top a different lightning setting (overlay and multiply do good, just change opacity to get the colours to your liking), also adding adjustmentlayers is a fun thing to do (layer>new adjustmentlayer> try them all )
Really gives you some nice things, to spice your screenshots up. Not trying to get your work down, just giving you some comments that could help you and put your work to another level.

Thanks Tommy,
I wanted to do emotes, but that is difficult to do because of the divine aura on the characters hands.
As for the layers, i tried those a bit but in the end it didnt matter because i needed to scale up the entire picture from 1920x1200 to 2560x1600 just to have it fit the size of the poster, which is 70x50 cm.
