hmm, I probably should finish my entry today.... gotta fix the text, make the front poster look even better And have to scratch the text of the backposters to make them look older... After that, I believe I'm 'done' for.

Almost done! 1 or 2 more rounds of feedback and I'm going to send it in and cross my fingers

Just so you guys know, I changed the credits to be more epic, added some scratches added some nails and made the cement of the bricks look a bit more realistic. Oh and I rounded the pumpkin a bit.

Very observant. I think out of everyone who has seen it, and gave me feedback, you were the only one to understand the balance I was trying to achieve with 'Love and Hate' on either side. I wanted to use a red rose, but that just disappeared in the back ground.

Do you know what a tuning fork is? Well after 2 hours of holding the Dremel, I had to take a break because my hands felt like a vibrating tuning fork. If I moved one muscle, it vibrated. So splitting up the engraving into to two sessions was a must.

Thank you for you comments. I really like this thread. Many talented people here. I hope that with just a few days before the dead line, everyone starts posting their art. I'm all eyes.

Wiki Razah and read his one quest and his dialogue to get more.

I hope he found his purpose now... eating candy corn!

kay, here's what I think I'll submit. Any feedback as to the level of cheesyness and so forth is very welcome. ^^'

All photos of the costume are in my deviantart gallery.
Also, for those concerned, the underwear strap goes underneath the belt around the midriff.

It's much less gaudy and tasteless than that big thing I submitted! xD

Wow! Great work on the costume! I really appreciate the craftsmanship and time that went into that, and the tats look awesome. Seriously. Nice effin job.

@Stouda: Awesome entry, it looks great

@Mina: The light source on the table REALLY made a significant difference. It looks great - and I also see that you'll be finishing on time. Awwwwriiiiighhhht

@Tom: It came out fine, don't get so down on yourself. I think the colors are what really make it. Something about how vibrant the colors are really fun to look at.

@Verene: I was wondering where you were at. Good to see your piece in this gallery. And only a 10K reward for Thorn? Shiiiieeeeeeeee.

@Tzu: Awesome cloth work as usual. Are you wearing a wig, or did you actually dye your hair red? And I'm with the rest of the group that say you're hot stuff.

@Shady: Badass. The fire pics came out fantastic.

@Death: Nice work, Death. Your piece came out nicely. Keep it up with the practice in PS.

@Najade: Again, I like the texture effects. Everything seems to have a feel like a collage, which is neat.

@Operative: I like the idea. I'd suggest maybe just adding a wee-bit more light on the right side of the tree and the tombstones near the flare.

@Dutch: Nice, the lighting on the left side of the bricks made a big difference. And the new poster you added really gives an extra punch to it.

@Konig: Awesome, that was a great read. Was some of the information you fit into your story actually based on the lore surrounding Thorn? Or was this strictly made for fun? In any case, I don't really know much about Thorn other than he tells jokes and gives out hats and candy. So this was some fun background info to read.

@Thistle: Argh, sorry I haven't gotten a time to sit down and read your story yet. Midterms are coming up, and my studio classes have me bogged down atm.

Can't believe that we're nearing the end of the workshop. It honestly felt like we just started a couple of weeks ago. Don't forget to submit your final pieces to the official GW CONTEST.

Lke seriously, Verene. Sure it'd be fine if it was roughly the same idea, but there is no way in the world you thought up the exact same idea with the exact same background material with the same everything. Honestly, it's just not cool. I thought Dutch's poster ruined my chances at winning anything, but this is really just something else.

Just FYI, Verene has had this idea for a LONG time now.

Just because she posted in this thread after Dutch and you doesn't mean she "stole your idea" (yes, I said it).

Besides, I don't see your problem! All 3 poster images are vastly different!

Verene, don't worry about it. Your piccie is way cool! ^_^

I have a question; are our entries due ON the 22nd? Or before the 22nd?
