Need to get the lighting done and choose a better setup for the camera.

Not much in the actual progress gallery, but there wasn't a whole lot for me to post, haha. I had the idea in my head for weeks now (everything laid out exactly as I wanted in my mind), just didn't have time to actually do it until now.

grrr browser rage. i keep getting frozen before i can submit my post to the thread >>>>:[

so photobucket wont upload my image, internet isnt cooperating
imageshack crashes my browser so im not trying it again... crashed about 6 times.

so while i wait for it to upload this is what I changed

1)Fiddled with vine tones
2)added some leaf details
3)darkened some pumpkin lines... i tried to add depth but it failed, but i didnt know if i should remove it or not (its only on the bottom two pumpkins). want feedback there.
4)I didnt clean up the area around the vines because it sort of looked like a shadow got cast on the pumpkins... i wasnt sure if the angle of the light would allow the shadow to cast so i left it in to get some opinions.

edit; FINALLLLLYYYY it uploaded.

edit; HURPDERP. i just realized I didnt shade part of the vine completely; i got distracted and moved on before it finished. So yeah, the bigger leaf will have moar darkness, but not blackness

hmm... first off, I love the leaf detail you put in there and the shading on the vine! With regards to the pumpkin lines, the way you did the one directly to his left is my fave. To me, it's absolutely perfect. Bottom right is like, 'that's nice,' kinda has a soft glow to it. Bottom center is like

, especially the top left lines. Definitely can see how you tried to smudge those. maybe needs more glow like bottom right?

phew, 2 am finally done. Due to a looong day at uni inhaling acids I couldn't get started with the "photoshoot" before 11pm this evening. I'll post some more pictures tomorrow, for now this raw will do as a preview:

Oops! Sorry for the confusion! I was indeed talking about 3 pumpkins: the unmodified pumpkin directly on the left of mkt (his right) has perfect lines to me, the bottom right modified pumpkin is nice because it also has some kind of soft glow effect added when you modified it, and the bottom center modified one that I like the least. Hope that clarifies which ones I was talking about and is helpful

Ahhh, i see now. What do you suggest i do with the bottom middle one? I think that's going to be the last change I make for it before I submit it ^^

@Tzu, that costume looks so authentic! I really like those tattoes, they're very accurate! Did you paint them on yourself?

I think the biggest culprits are those three left most lines. You can see the original black line and a smudge (especially the top left one). Can you make it blend more so it's a smoother gradient? I think that might do it
