Tentatively finished MKT plushie. I'm sure I'll make some more adjustments (like his hands and redo the shoulders) in a week or so after I get progress done on the costume.

@Raven: Maybe you're like me, and have been working strictly in B&W pencil for as long as you can remember. I think I'm going to like this gray-scale method because it's more up my alley in terms of how I shade. Not to mention it's so much easier to manage colors without actually having to change or run the risk of destroying the base image.

And to top it off, I think I can really bring out some of the Classical influence that I work from. There's something about the way gray-scale color layers react that seem to look like an older styled work.

So thanks to you and Tommy for bringing up the topic here.

Titian, highly relevant since he liked to use color washes.

Fixed plushie MKT's shoulder pads and hands.

Giant pumpkin head is the headpiece for the MKT costume. Which I need to stop procrastinating on. After some more tea and snacks. I think I have gathered all the materials I need except something for covering the eyes and mouth openings. Trying to find something that is a bit breathable and that the person inside can kind of see out of yet will appear strongly yellow for outside viewing. Was thinking of yellow sport jersey material but can not find any around here yet.

@Kiya- i agree with marsh, bout the only thing i think would be breathable but still keeping that strong yellow would be silk :-/ how long were you planning on having your hubby wear it?

Ideally we wanted it so he could walk around at a con or something so I wanted to make it good for extended periods of time. I think we're going to go with the backup plan of using spandex if I can't find anything better by this weekend and just limit how long he has the head on for.

Charliepai, finally got the chance to fix the knee. Still got things that I need to work on but thought I'd show you my progress so far >_>:
