Sorry, Im not good with english xD anyway, by border i mean the line or stroke that gives to the armor a shape ( a thick part of metal on the edge of the armor)

No problem
The armor material itself is hard cloth/leather, it's not all metal. I think it's only the green accents on the top and the belt that are a bit metallic.

Thanks everyone esp you Charlie! I'll do the corrections tomorrow. I just did the flat greyscale tonight, They are all in diff layers so I should be able to fix the anatomy anyhow. Just not sure about the head part yet but I'll do my best
Thanks so much again!
Infested Hyrdalisk suggested to change the skull so I did and it looks better.
I'll give feedback on the others' updates tom. Need some sleep ^^
EDIT- just looked at Charlie's corrections again, everything should be doable! I can't wait to work on it tom.

Quickly laid down the base colors - still properly positioning her. Also started on shading her face and hair. I haven't added all the lighting layers, so the current shading isn't final.
She is.

I'm glad you and others think so, haha. Trust me, it's going to be even more creepy when I add the hallway and aging effects. Also possibly thinking of having this animated, but we'll see. I'll have to talk to my CG teacher for that since I don't know how to animate anything beyond a .GIF file.

I was looking around on dA for a hair drawing tutorial, and I ended up seeing some absolutely amazing drawings... Needless to say that after looking back at my pic, I feel about this small " . "
Might not work on my pic today, we'll see. :|

@ Charlie.. Stunning, truely cool. I think the textures were a bit too much on 'The Bride' but now you use them for a more close up face they look very cool. Gives a real feel to the skin. The hair has a cool style aswell! Just the lips bother me a bit. Its almost like she's pouting.
@ Ravenhawk.. Sweet. You are gonna keep it black and white or... Never really understood the idea behind painting it in black 'n white first, but perhabs you have some masterplan behind it. Enlighten me! Just one advice I'd like to give you: be carefull not to get toooo cliché For example, I wouldnt make the curtains raffled, but more likely very chique yet gothic (as far as curtains can be gothic xD) To make my point, your pic includes: An evil moon, a (black?) cat, a skull, another skull, a crow, candle light, those typical scary trees. I think it might be a bit much and might make the picture too busy. The attention point of the picture (I guess) should be her face and buste (boy what a boobs btw! ), yet the picture has more going on at her waiste hight, 2 skulls, candle, crow etc. It's not tooo busy, but I would consider making them not stand out too much with the colouring. Just shade them very lightly. I think I never used to word too so often Still, her expression is priceless, really good.
And Minami, dont let others get you down! You are great and you know it. At least I do.

Charlie - I am glad that I saw that pic when I woke up this morning not before I slept last night. I am almost certain you'd win the evil award at the very least. lol.
Usk - *saved that link* Liking the progress and the smudging looks great. There's something about the skirt that makes them look stiff though.
Minami - Nice. I just noticed that evil smirk on her face , makes me think that she poisoned those candy corns lol really neat! I am assuming that you'd put more shadings on the armor as well but the details are looking great.
About hair tutorials, hmm..I used to follow this tutorial a lot and I really liked it. May not be the best one but this is what I used to follow. Right now I just follow my own instincts in drawing hair. Not sure how that happened lol:
http://photoshop-tutorials.deviantar...ck-W-117461905
Tommy: Yeah the lighting (which is not obvious yet) would mute down a lot of parts in that pic actually. The room would be generally dark considering that the only source of light would be the candle and the moon in the background. I can't wait to get to the shading. It's always my favorite part of the doing my drawings. (also the highlight part). Also planning to put some peeled wallpaper texture on the wall.
The cat will not be drawn out most probably but just glowy eyes. We'll see.
The grayscale technique I loosely based from this tutorial. I've followed a ton of them that I already mixed and matched different techniques.

I didn't want to get stuck trying to figure out what particular colors to use yet but I have a general idea of the hue that I want. I actually applied the greyscale technique to my last three drawings - (Armageddon, The Hawk and The Tiefling/Demon girl).

lol thanks. It was actually pretty entertaining to read too. He's got some really funny side comments. Hope that helps the others as well. That Genzoman tutorial is pretty much the backbone of my current coloring style.

Thanks everyone
This is the hair tutorial I'm following: http://tinyurl.com/2uccomr
Still don't feel like continuing my current work (just thinking about armor shading and texturing makes me cringe... been working on the pic a bit too much methinks), maybe it's time to relax the brain by doodling something else.
I think I will do a face outline and practice some hair drawing on it just for fun.
If I manage to draw something nice looking, I'll post it here (after kicking myself in the ass for not drawing it straight onto my necro )

She's a cute little bean. Her hair looks a little big to me, so I might chop off a bit from the top and sides. I'll probably toss it around a bit at the very end once I've got the background in. Just sort of focusing on this face at the moment, and playing with layers to get that ominous vibe. I'll move on to her clothing and the other twin once I'm satisfied I find that system.
@Kiya: Lookin' good so far
@Mina: Sounds like you need a break. Just put the piece on hold for a few and come back to it later.

By the way, I realized I'm not so good at drawing (I know, how can I be, I just started >_< but that doesn't matter), so I will be taking the rest of the week off to work up some confidence and acceptance of not being able to draw what I can visualize exactly.
TBH, that's why I use 3D, even with all the necessary tinkerings one has to do, it's somehow more comfortable for me.
Doing this drawing is WAAAY outside of my comfort zone, and I won't give up on my entry (don't worry), but it just takes time to adjust from one medium to another.
