Had a fairly sour day today, so I decided I'd draw some pretty girls.

Doing 1 freebie tonight, maybe some more sketches if I dont go overboard with the freebie (which I tend to do). Post asap please, I have to finish the piece tonight, only free time Ill have in a while.

Character Name: Mina

Personality: Short-tempered, Witty, Secretive, Stubborn, Likes to tease and outsmart opponents.

Short Story: A skilled mesmer with a dark and troubled past. Mina is also gifted with a strange power that coupled with a responsibility that she doesn't want any part of.

Roleplaying Hints:
Mina is a mysterious mix of being approachable and at the same time distant. There are conversations which she would be very open but much of her deep thoughts and feelings she would keep to herself. But if you're in her good side, she would do her earnest to protect you even if it would cause her harm.

Quirks:
Can't swim, bad sense of direction, has a habit of matchmaking friends. Gets stabby when (stolen) kissed so be careful lol

c&p'd from the bad girl/good girl thread: She grew up in Ascalon, loving how incredibly beautiful it was. She lived a relatively normal life as a Necromancer recruit, but when the Searing destroyed her homeland, it destroyed her as well. She's spent most of her life since traveling the world in search of a place equally beautiful, while trying to improve her own appearance. By allowing her obsession to consume her, she no longer has total control over the dark magic of Necromancy. With each passing day, she loses a bit more of herself.

BG story: She grew up in Tyria, playing with minions she summoned for entertainment. She disappeared for years from her late teens to early 20's, and will not tell anyone where she spent her time.
She became a beautiful, seductive, and powerful necromancer during this time, not scared of casting the nastiest of spells on those who she thinks deserve it.
She loves her minipets, and adores cats. She has a crush on Razah.

My Rosemary:

Her left eye is mechanic (sort of like a golem), made by the asura after she helped in EotN. She used to be a recluse, the typical angsty teenager, but saving the world let her see a new side that made her grow up into a calm and serious young woman.
When she was young, she was certain that the spirit world was the best place to be, and considered the real world to be dirty and awful. She always wore her eyes covered and would have a panic attack if they were uncovered for very long. When in training, this got so bad that she poked her own eye out (the left one), and was stopped before she could do it to the other one too. For a long time, she travelled with a shut, scarred left eye, until the Asura asked if she'd like to help with an experiment to develop a prosthetic eye.
My other character Perynne was the one who slowly taught her that the physical world can be beautiful too, and that having an open mind to new experiences is one of the most precious things in the world.

Verene, my Ranger. She's a Canthan orphan raised in Ascalon - her parents were Canthan traders killed by the Charr when she was an infant, and she was taken in by a Tyrian couple who had never had children. She only became aware that she was adopted upon traveling to Cantha as an adult...which was something of a surprise to her, obviously. She's no stranger to loss, having lost her adoptive parents during the Searing, but despite this she's grown to be an optimistic and caring woman. Things can be bad, but they'll get better, is her mindset. She's not the most social person in the world, feeling slightly uncomfortable in large cities (she is secretly glad that she did not grow up in Kaineng), and prefers the quiet wilderness. She has a pet lynx who usually travels with her.

Feel better! Bad days are never fun.

Oh, and, uh, feel free to ignore the kitty ears XD those screencaps I took the day of the Halloween party, haha.

Personality: Outside of her missions she is mostly a person who makes the most out of her life, she is also a party animal. In her missions she is pretty serious, but tends to do some sweet talking when she is face to face with someone.
Discription: Kimi has been trained into Ninjutsu since she was 7 (she is now 25 years old). It's not just Ninjutsu that she has been trained into, she has also mastered the Shadow Arts. By which she can walk through the shadows. Fading away in black smoke,completely becoming invisible for a brief moment and being able to create a shadow-ish illusion of herself, just to name a few abilities. Currently she lives in a big city mainly run by criminal orginisations. She is part of a gang to stop all the criminal activities with high-tech Ninja tools including handguns, and their assault team wears modern traditional Samurai suits (so strong that it resists a huge amount of bullets) with mainly an assault gun and a hardened sword. The year this takes place in is around 2075-2100.

(Oh and she wears black elite luxonish gloves instead of destroyer.)

discription: My backstory for my Necro/Ranger:
Grenth/Melandru warshipper, (Unholy Protector of Tyria, protecting the dead and nature), when living she was more of a herbalist and although people called her a 'witch' many came to see her to get cures for all sorts of alements. When her husband got sick and couldnt get healed with her potions, she prayed to Melandru to help her; instead Dwayna appeared, explaining that "both life and death, are a part of life" ...

Refusing to accept her husband would die, she went to the catacombs to seek guidance from her grandmother who was a great herbalist in her times ... in these catacombs a ghost with the resemblance of her grandmother appeared, saying she had a spell that could save her husband ... with the use of this spells she did indeed manage to keep her husbands body 'on the living side'; but with doing so she lost the favor of Dwayna and also Melandru was shocked by this turn of events (She should have known death is just a part of life), this resulted in her potions to become less effective (Dwayna didnt support her anymore) and the people began to shun her, this though might also have had something to do with the 'Living Corpse' that was constantly at her side ...

Living a more solitude life she began to dwell in the catacombs looking for the spirit of her husband, as she had also noticed that, although her husband was still with her, he was not the husband she used to know ... Besides the spirit of her grandmother, there were also other spirits appearing to her, teaching her ever more darker Magic ... When one morning she was asked to help a young scolar stay alive in the catacomb, her helping 'nature' could not refuse; but with the loss of Dwayna's blessing this turned horribly wrong as her heals lacked any effectiveness for the dangers they faced and the whole party got whiped ...

Appearing befor Grenth, she was confronted with even more sorrow as she was given the following choise, Grenth: "Seeing 'Dwayna' wont let me grant you and your husband passage into the underworld, you can choose to set your husbands spirit free, but you will be faced with ever lasting life, or You can enter the underworld and your husbands spirit will never find rest." Since she could not bear the idea of him never finding rest and seeing her 'husband' was starting to get rather smelly, she decided to grant him passage into the underworld.

Convinced by the cruelty of 'Dwayna's' choise, she totally lost faith and became a full Necromancer; While she made her way back to Tyria, from the Underworld, it turned out that not all the Gods, she had trusted on in the past, had forsaken her, when she helped some ghost she was rewarded with a black widow spider as a companion. Together with this companion she set out into Tyria to help were ever needed, and to prove to Dwayna that the power of 'evil' could also be used for good and to help those in need...

Feel free to use or ignore the cat ears on my little necro. I don't really do role-playing in GW so I'd guess the little necro is pretty much sharp-edged with a dry, ironic sense of humour; she's been accused of being evil more than once. She's seen just about everything, probably at least twice.

The mesmer is all about the clothes and spends almost her time in the pursuit of new outfits which has pretty much taken her to every corner of the world.

I feel your pain mate, I have a girly I want drawn, but in a specific set of armor.. and she hasn't gotten far enough thru to get at it.

So if you hear a clunking sound it's just me banging my head on the nearest wall.
