Omai thats so amazing! Can't wait to see more! I love the colours and the hatched kind of shading (I must admit, I'm going to steal that tactic soon I've never used soft brushes, looks like you use them quite a bit.. or don't you?.. ^^)
What I mostly like it the raffled kinda thing from her sleeves. Colors are really great there! And like Pery said, your work is always so glowing! I'm short for words to desribe And that lineart looks good too, I need to learn how to make longer straight strokes (I always make many small ones resulting in something ugly ) looks like it makes coloring from greyscale alot easier that way :3

@Verene: Corgis are awesome aren't they. Even when they're pandas...
|
Corgis are the best dogs ever. The dog we had from before I was born until I was 19 was a corgi <3 If I ever get a dog of my own it will have to be that breed.
And a corgi panda would be so awesome.

Oh gosh..don't get me started on talking about dogs *_*
Nian, what can I say? Your drawings are awesome! Aside from what's already been said, you're really good at anatomy. I love how your drawings seem to flow smoothly and flawlessly. Can't wait to see more from you!

@Tommy's: By all means. Yes I am a sucker for soft brushes. It all stems down to insecurities with using strong brushes haha. I think I have learned a lot by using just the very basic brushes and I'm still learning about the soft vs. hard shading, and how you should only use the hard edgy strokes in places you want to bring forth and leave the rest softly blended. As for the lineart... Heck I'm messy as hell too, especially on paper. The only reason I am able to control myself and do the clean lines is because I'm already thinking they will be painted over so it doesn't matter that they suck... I'm trying hard to learn drawing stuff clean on the spot. I have a few friends who are very good at this and I'm soooooo jelly tbh. I believe it has a lot to do with self control aswell.
@Verene: <3 Corgis :3
@Perynne: Me too~ I used to do so many oekakis in the past that taking progress shots and leaving the animation recording on became a habit. x) I love looking at other people's progress shots. You can learn so many new tricks from seeing it and sometimes it's even encouraging to see all the "cheats" and tricks other people use too hehe.
@Ravenhawk: Haha thank you for the compliment though I think my anatomy is often waaay wacky. Not that I was aiming for anything less than fantasy but sometimes I feel like I should tone it down and really concentrate on real anatomy. xD
My internet hasn't been working much at all today which naturally kept me annoyed all day. Didn't wan't to draw, couldn't play... so in the end I gave in:
I know it's neither my art trade with Pery nor Inv's commish, sorry >.<. Let's just call it "sad elven lady without her internets".

Eh, it's allright to draw something of your own once in a while. We're not gonna bite your head off if you don't finish ours right away.
Besides, I haven't made any more progress on yours either, got sidetracked by an art meme and then drawing all of my GW characters as simple minis.

Sorry to say this but from now on I'm going to require payment up front.
I don't want to have to /pm and remind or beg for the rewards afterwards when I've already worked several days & hours on something... sorry but really...
If something happens and I can't finish your commission I will ofcourse return everything you gave me.
I've edited the OP to be more clear and if anyone wants to update their info, by all means do so.
@Perynne: <3 All of your characters? Haha, have fun with that. I would love to see them.

I'm a proud fan of Starcraft!. All my characters have names from Starcraft units.

50k tip you wish. I always give tips when I have money available. But now I'm on the poor side and I'm selling everything I can to get more money for more art! I'm addicted!!!

Haha, btw I'm completely fine without tips. It's not even a custom in Finland(we love our taxes...) so I was surprised the first time I got some tips and a red iris flower lawls. If you pay up front you also most likely don't tip yet so it's a good deal, really! Not to mention since I make you guys decide the prices right at the start too and I know how much Nolani regulars like to horder artwork so... makes sense. ;D

I'll post it up when it's finished. They're just gonna be like little mini-style, with very simple colouring, but it's a fun thing to do inbetween drawing other, more serious artwork.
Eeee, the corgi is cute! <3

I really love the look of your sketches. They're so alive, and have such wonderful detail. Good luck with the second try!
