Heh, I think most people's colouring looks sloppy up close. That's the magic of it: how it can look so good as a finished version, until you zoom in close and see all the brushstrokes. Then again, brushtrokes = textures. <3

Thanks for the interest and all the art trade offers. <3
I've started with one commission and will take a new one from this thread once I'm done. I'll contact you if you still want it once I get to you~ Thus closing commissions since I think I've got enough offers to go through for now.
@Tommy's: I'd be happy to do an art trade with you! Haha this is fast turning into an art trade thread but nothing wrong with that since both parties will get something nice! I'll add this to my list of things to do.
@Invertation: Sent you a PM~
@InfestedHydralisk: There is still the 1g stick figure option! ;D Ah well I find it hard to put price tags on stuff(which is why I tossed it to you guys haha) but I guess above 50k I start painting stuff with more detail. I tend to go by feeling with every piece so it's hard to say, sorry. >.< Thanks for the offer, I'll let you know when I get to you. That's a very interesting description to boot. Very different and inspiring.
@Marsh: I start out with small messy sketches and as it goes along I enlarge it to something like 1400 x 2500 pixels or even 2500 x 4000 pixels. If I remember to switch PPI to 300 I do that before resizing. Usually it's the default 72 PPI in Photoshop. The size depends. I always want to have the heads & faces in the image large enough to almost fill my screen in height. :P
@Ravenhawk: Yay thankies~
@Perynne: Aye, I try to paint as much as I can zoomed out so I won't go into too much detail at first... It's hard to keep yourself from getting too caught up in one single detail like the lips or eyes, efficiently forgetting the rest of the picture. xD Textures<3
Sorryes for the slow reply. :d

I am interested like the one you provided above of your monk. In what price range is that?

@InfestedHydralisk: Depends on how much effort you want me to put in and even still every piece is gonna be different. I'm not even that happy with the above Monk painting, it could have been better. I let you decide the price... More than that I like something simple/easy to paint that will inspire me heh.
@frostkisses: I don't have a "Commission waiting list" because I don't think I could handle that atm. I'm just gonna go through the offers I got when I have the time. Sorry for being confusing. There is no first come, first served. I'm picking what I feel inspired to do one picture at a time. If you want you can post your idea/screens for me.
Doodling Tommy's art trade yesterday.
Don't worry Tommy, it's not going to be black & white. You will see later... I'll send you my char pics in a moment.
also

OMG that's such a realistic cat! o_o Woooo~ I wish I had a boss like that.
Anyway. The wip is looking soooo cute. :3 Only comment is that perhaps the panda could have a flatter snout? Looks a bit too long right now, almost doglike. Otherwise it's looking awesome.

I LOVE the hair on tommy's monk. I agree with pery, perhaps shorten the snout a bit. Other than that..just beautiful so far.

Vibrant, but with purpose. Elaborate, yet restrained. Simple, albeit detailed. Most importantly--shiny.

I love seeing process pictures, it's always fun to see how an artist works on their drawings. And ooh, the finished product is sooo glowy. @_@ Very, very nice colours.
