I really do! In fact, I am working on it right now
Would you upload it in your DA page by any chance ? (even in scrapbook) so I can link the thumbnail when I post the colored version in my DA page?

Never saw this coloring style from you Raven.
Or maye it's because of the sketch.
Either way, looks well made on both sides.

Thanks Hydra! I think the coloring I did is actually growing on me. I have it as my wallpaper now. lol.
About the style, I don't remember doing anything special in coloring but somehow it ended up looking different O_o. I noticed that my collab pieces usually tend to look different depending on the lineart.
Thanks Vulpes again! Ran rarely smiles but now that I think of it, I can totally imagine him pulling off something like this with Mina. And I love how Mina's expression is somewhere between "I am not impressed" and moderately amused lol. Totally suits the characters! =^_^=

Oooh, the lineart looks really good, and Raven's colouring is very very pretty. :3 I've noticed as well that colouring someone else's lineart tends to make your colouring technique look a bit different. I don't think it's a bad thing, it'll help improve colouring since you're working with something different as a base.

Thanks Thisle and Perynne. I hope I did justice to Vulpes' stunning sketch.

@Perynne - That is so true. I actually worked on coloring this one longer than I expected. I tend to put dark shadows in my usual artwork. I did something like that with this one initially and I thought it didn't fit. So I reverted to lighter shading and I think it looks better that way. I actually learned that in this one - don't overdo the shadows lol. Less is more So yeah it was a great experience.

Yeah, I used to do the really dark shadows too, but unless you're really trying to do a hiding in the shadows/it's really freaking dark in the setting kind of look, it will usually look MUCH better if you tone it down. :3
It looks good, I'm heading over to DA to fav it now. ^^
@everyone else: Thanks~ Raven did a great job.

Seems to be a recurring theme around here... Play GW for a while, post art in Nolani. Take a break from GW for an indeterminate amount of time and disappear from the forums. Make a comeback to GW, with Nolani following very close behind. Just can't seem to be able to separate the two!
