Zidane... Hell you! Stunning as always, seriously. Looooooks great, only final tweaks I could come up with are the snowflakes in front of the charr, could be a bit sharper perhabs. But amazing still.
Perynne: Thats exactly what I was thinking. They are working on the biggest snowman of Tyria, a historical moment that will write history, and all they are are the suplydudes. But I didnt want them to look too sad or something, just a bit grumphy I guess. But thats a very thin line, not so easy to accomplish

Darnit :P Stupid lineart!
@Perynne: I managed to fix the stupid lines by duplicating my lineart layer, setting it on darken and merging it back to one :P Since the wet edges made it sorta translucent-ish and..well, wet looking, it worked just fine
I have a couple more questions :P This is really tbh my first time trying to do things like this on Photoshop...never taken classes, neither for drawing, nor photoshop nor nothing. So you're all my teachers :P If you don't mind.
My questions are:
Should i make a different lineart layer for each different figure? i.e. one for the phoenix, one for Dwayna...
What exactly does setting a layer on Multiply do? I get that i have to do it for lineart, but i'd prefer to know why i'm doing it so i can maybe apply the knowledge to other situations.
@Zidane: It looks absolutely awesome

Death by an Arrow: Yeah I guess that I could try a few techniques on a different sheet of paper first. I'm just terrible with backgrounds and I want a nice snow effect without cluttering the image. I'm glad you guys are here to help me!! I really think that a night-time sky would get in the way too much with the other darks and lights of the picture and would not look nice at all, so I am leaning against that option. Yeah, I'm not sure. I'll see what I can come up with later.
Verene: Haha no problem, I am too that's why I need help XD -Yeah well I'm purposefully smudging, and I just need to fix how it looks in some areas. That's quite funny though.
Marshmallow: While those are good suggestions, I just think that those would clutter my image too much and take away from the err, "God-oriented"? feel of the image as well. That's my opinion at least.
Perynne: Yeah I was thinking of adding snow swirling to make the wind effect that I made on the cloth, appear more prominently. I know, that's what is bugging me, that blank white space that seems to fit but not fit at the same time. Hmm...Perhaps some clouds would be good to add, yeah I think I'll do that... I just don't want the image to look too flat somehow. I think that I could maybe expand the horizon more and give it more depth but I have no idea how I'd do that and still stop it at a certain point.
T.T I hate it when I get stuck like this.
Yeah I don't have a light box so the ceiling light is a good idea haha. I wouldn't cut and paste it though.
Zidane: I really like your Charr in the snow. The simplicity of it draws your eye right to the subject. And you did a great job making the snow effect. The mouse is cute ^^
Flying Ninja Monk: I would help, but I'm not a digital art person. I know nothing about any of it haha. If I ever got PS I would need a hands on walk-through for sure XD. I got my pencil and some paper, that's about it
Wish I could help though =/

I don't know why I didn't think of this before, because I've done it a billion times.
Nemesis, sketch out your background ideas on bits of tracing paper. Then you won't really need a lightbox to see through it, nor to transfer it onto the actual drawing (to transfer it, trace the drawing you want to transfer on the back of the tracing paper with a 2B pencil, align it on the actual drawing so that the traced bit is facing down and it's all lined up, and then trace/color over/in some way put pressure on the front of the tracing paper, transfering over the lines).
If you don't want to go that route, though, I usually use a window when it's light outside, or my computer monitor as a sort of makeshift light box.
...one of these days I'm buying a light box. Between my drawing and photography I would get so much use out of it.

Verene: Well, that's a great idea, but I'm afraid that don't have any tracing paper. At all. And I can't use my computer because the pressure would ruin my screen (it's one of those LCD or whatever ones, just not a very high quality one) and by the time I get home it's getting dark outside =P I could always try to make a really ugly rough sketch of the drawing on another sheet of paper, just making the different outlines of the drawing and try that. I don't know. Thanks for the idea though! Too bad I don't have the materials =/

I have a laptop and I use my screen to trace sometimes XD I do have to be very careful doing so, though. It's probably not the most intelligent thing I've ever done.
Well, you can still do the transfer method that I described with regular paper; I just usually do it with tracing paper (because I have tons of it laying around). Sketch on another piece and hold them up to a lamp together to see how they look, and if you like it, then transfer it over.

Zidane, great work! The right arm looks a bit big to me, but it may be intentional. Very nice fur, very nice details and I love the li'l mouse
Nemesis, I agree with Perynne. Add more texture to the sky and fill the blank area. Other than that, really good.
Marshie, I still love your chibis. I'm not a chibi person - not at all - but yours simply melt my heart. You do it so well. You need to take some weight off Gwen's forearm though, it looks a bit too thick at the moment. Caught my attention through all the awesomeness. If you don't wanna, you don't need to, just my opinion. Or you could add some mass to her biceps area. :3
Eastern, you posted while I was writing mine, but hay that is great Me likey, maybe blur her arm's colouring a bit further? Awesome work whatsoever.

I haven't made much progress myself, but your projects are coming along well!
@Eastern Magik: That tiara is amazing, and I have to say, Dwayna reminds me of Drew Barrymore (that's a good thing!).
I've basically finalized the order of themes in my piano arrangement.
* The sylvari theme will be arranged to introduce the winter season.
* The asura & charr themes will be arranged w/ "Carol of the Bells" in mind.
* The human theme will be reworked to sound like calm, choral music you would hear at church.
* The norn theme (at least I think it's the norn theme (the music accompanying the norn scenes in the Races of Tyria trailer)) will incorporate "Carol of the Bells" to finish off.

If you want to trace something, why not use the pen tool in photoshop and then stroke it in a different layer? (or am I missing something?)

Don't have high enough res copies of the snowfighting skills to make bracelets of that. But I did make this :
I can only use materials I already have on hand for my entry this year. No more buying stuff.

I had just scanned my completed score, and the other music entry beat me to posting
Score, spoilered for longness:
In short, the sequence of the music will go: Gwen's Theme (EotN ver) for intro -> Please Be Home for Wintersday -> Gwen's Theme (Prophecies ver) for credits/extra perk

@Tommy's: Hopefully I'll be able to make recording soon so that people can actually listen to it rather than having pages of music notes eating their faces.
