Welcome, novawhiz.
I don't have any good Wintersday screenshots that I've kept. It would be nice to have one single gallery of Wintersday screenies to inspire artists, but I'm not sure how to go about making one where everyone could add their own screenshots.

Yeah, Wiki has some good reference pics. And I'm sure it'll be ok if you come up with details of your own too, a little creativity like that just makes it more interesting.

I only asked to be able to edit Tzu's first post here, so I can help her keep up to date with everything. She's suuuper busy.
I don't know what Inde + Nolani mods decided, as far as I know it's temporary, just for the duration of the Wintersday workshop
On that note, I added Nova to the entrants' list ^_^

What I would suggest if create a new thread in the screenshot request subforum, asking for Wintersday screenshots. I did so for Halloween and I got alot of nice and useful screenshots You'd be suprised how many people keep such amounts of screenshots

So I'm going to work on getting some donations figured out.
Some of them would depend on when the workshop/official contest ends (for, say, a stack or two of frosty tonics if the quest is available during wintersday again. and if its before the end date).
Some other things I've got are some ded minis (but not just the lame ones, some of the cooler ones as well :P), maybe a few unded minis (im not sure what ive got), a few weapon skins I like but never found a use for in my storage, some gold quantities, and miscellaneous other things.
I'll work on organizing them and I'll PM you Minami once I've finished.

Sounds good Death
If anyone else is donating to the workshop, please send me a PM with your in-game name and when you can be online, and I'll add you to my friends list and PM you so I can store your donations and update the main post with your contribution info

Same goes for videos as well, I think. Everything should be welcome.

Awesome sauce! Thanks for clarification.

Count me in if that's happening.

There have been music entries in the past, so I definitely see no reason why it wouldn't be allowed. Same for videos. So, basically, go for it
And I'll have to poke through my storage and see if I have anything I can donate. Probably not much, but I'll look anyway.
Edit: And I handed over some stuff to Minami, it's not a lot but it's something

Will do! I'll probably organize it again for next year's Wintersday. GW2 should be out by then anyway.
I got started on my drawing during some free time today. The scanner totally killed the lines (there's something wrong with the scanner, no matter how much I fiddle with the settings half of the lines are still missing from the scanned image), but it's enough to show what I'm going for.
I'm not entirely sure if I should have the kids surrounding her, or just to one side. Tried to see which would look better by moving them around a bit in Photoshop.
Even though it looks a bit more crowded, so far I'm liking the one with kids on both sides better.

I like the right picture better aswell (looks really good btw!) Specially cause of the kid facing the camera I guess I would put people at both sides, just some more on one side. I think the composition on the right one is very good

I agree, the one on the right seems more balanced and easy on the eyes

I also like the one on the right better - it feels more balanced and natural, as if someone took a candid snapshot of a bunch of kids actually playing. And even though there's more going on, it seems less crowded, and everything sort of brings your eyes into the center, with the Ele creating snow.

The right one is the best in my oppinion, it's crowded around her, giving more central attention to the main character.

Alright, I have a progress gallery now too.
satomz's progress gallery
So I first need to get the music part under my belt. I'll be doing singing, as well as playing flute and piano (and maybe piccolo), so I need to know the music well. In addition, since I only have one week of access to piano at my parents' house over Thanksgiving, I need to get going ASAP.
The first step is transcription of the music I'll be using. The main song will be "I'll Be Home for Christmas" (or "Please Be Home for Wintersday" in my case) which I still need to come up with altered lyrics.
Then I adjusted the pitch for easier singing.
I still thought I wanted some more GW factor in, so I searched around. I was lucky to find Gwen's theme, Prophecies one and Eye of the North one. I transcribed the Eye of the North one to memorize.
After I scanned the images in, I actually found a few mistakes that I wouldn't otherwise have noticed. Phew.
Next step is to come up with flute and piano (and possibly piccolo) parts to accompany singing for "Please Be Home for Wintersday" and coming up with good lyrics matching Wintersday theme.
