Tyrni's commissions
Hi everyone!
English is not my mother tongue, so first I'd like to apologize for any spelling errors.
I can work with several styles, but usually my paintings are semi-realistic, my tools are pencils and digital painting.
I haven't done Guild wars related art in a long while, but let's see... Here are some examples of my art (human and animal related):
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../xena_wip8.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v472/Tyrni/hush5.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../kylkiluut.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v472/Tyrni/issay3.jpg
Before drawing a picture I'd like to have some character screenshots and if you like, you can tell more about your character (every detail adds more to the art).
Pricing:
- Potrait 100K
- Half body 120-130K
- Full body 150K
+ adding character 80-120K (potrait - full body)
+ adding pet 20-50K (potrait - full body)
+ adding detailed background 50-70K, simple backgrounds are free
If you're short on "cash" I also take these as payment:
- items for hero armor updates
- rare crafting material (behind spoiler tags: )
- minipets (List of my minipets behind spoiler tags: )

Very nice artwork, I especially like the one with the 2 animals on it. That one looks really good!
Atm I don't have any more spare money to spend, or else I would have taken one from you.
But now others will have the chance to be first!

The tattoo design on that last one is pretty nifty.

One for me please! How much would something like this be (without the background - I'd just like a character, sort of halfway between full-body and portrait)? And does the 100-150k price you mentioned include colour? I should also have some minipets cluttering my storage to donate, if you need more. Just let me know which ones you need. :3
Also... ihanaa nähdä muitakin suomalaisia taiteilijoita täällä. Aikaisemmin meitä oli enemmänkin, mutta nyt on ollut kovin hiljaista jonkin aikaa.
---------------------
Screenshot reference (put it behind the spoil tag so it won't clutter your thread:
Cassia is very small (in irl height, around 150cm), but has a very strong personality. She's quick to anger, has a very brash sense of humour and a strong sense of justice (which also drives her to seek revenge easily, if she feels she has been wronged).
She's got a bit of a sister complex - her sister is a renowned dervish of virtue in Istan whom everyone loves, and Cassia has always been left in the shadow. She tries to prove herself by volunteering for anything that seems heroic (even some dumb heroic things) and somehow, in the process, ends up saving Elona alongside her sister. However, being as good as her sister is not good enough for her, so she continues on to EotN, saves them too, then settles down in a nice Norn town with a nice Norn husband and a hankering for hunting polar bears.

That T-shirt one is going to give me nightmares.....
nice art, good luck with the commissions, sadly I don't have that sort of cash.
I might have a few minis lying around that no-one else has wanted though, I suggest you put up a list of the minis you already have behind spoil tags, so we all know what you need.

Thank you InfestedHydralisk and Charlie Dayman.
Perynne,
hi (or terve ), 100-150k includes colours and price for that kind of piece would be something like 120k. How does that sound?
With that price I can also make some simple background, if plain white gets too boring.
Aeronwen,
thank you. If you have some minis that I don't have we could handle some kind of a deal for a picture.

Allright, 120k sounds good! Be advised that people here like to tip artists, so sometimes you'll even get something extra with payment. I'll check my minipet inventory, to see if I have something available that you need.
Do you have any of your art on display at a website, such as deviantART or a sketchblog? I'd love to see more, you have such a lovely style.
EDIT: Minis I can give you -

Perynne, okay, I'll start with your art as soon as possible. I was thinking she could have quite tense pose and serious look on her face, like she doesn't really know if she should be proud or uncomfortable about being pictured?
I show my art rarely in internet nowadays, usually only when I'm doing commissions.
I have some animal related art here: http://elainmuotokuvia.webs.com/ , the website is in finnish, but that shouldn't bother you really.

Allright, the pose idea sounds good. She's all about action, so it would make sense that she's not sure how to deal with being drawn/photographed/etc.
Oooh, those are really lovely animal drawings. I looooove the way you draw horses! Do you study art, or something else? I think if you advertised your art mode widely, you could get more people interested in irl commissions too. For example, deviantART might be bit of a mainstream place to post your art but it's a good place to get more attention and possible commissions. :3

I used to study arts in Helsinki, but now I just draw and paint as a hobby.
I actually used to have an account in deviantART, but I've been too busy with my other studies and work, so I basically never posted anything...

You got great stuff! I'll see if I get some moneys left after my commish with Eastern Magik.
I like the dogs and the tattooed guy the best. Do you draw female characters or more comfortable drawing males?

I really like your art! I would like a portrait of my male warrior.
I do not have any und. minipets tho But i pay 100k+ if that is okey with you!
I pretty much let you decide how you want to draw it. But no hearts and kisses on this one! This is a real bad-ass warrior! ;p

I'd be very tempted to get a RL commission from you of one of the dogs I'm fostering, cus she's so pretty and you are excellent at drawing animals. However I already have other commissions on the line, and I'm trying to save up for an apartment. -_-

No problem with drawing female characters, I just have more male characters, that all.
Warvic
Thank you. With potrait 100k is just fine, I'll start with your piece after Perynnes Cassia is ready!
Chicken of the Seas
Thank you for your compliments, if you get some money together, feel free to contact me. It could be possible to arrange some kind of a deal.
Perynne
Here's a pencil sketch of Cassia, are you happy with the direction of this or should I make some changes?

That sketch looks really epic Tyrni. The pose looks like shes ready to show you who's boss. :P
She feels norn-ish to me, but that might just be because we're looking from a little bit below so she should feel taller.
what kind of pencils do you use? I'm in the market for some new ones and yours look very clean. might just be the talent though x.x

Oh, that's looking very good! I love it! That superior look, and trying to look more important than everyone else is definitely very Cassia.
I like. <3 Can't wait to see more.

Is a drawing with multiple characters okay? If so, I'd like to request a commission of mine and my boyfriend's Mesmers. I'll certainly pay extra for it having more than one character, of course!
Pictures:
They're both fairly new characters that we made to play through everything together Aiko is the quiet yet easily amused sort and prefers hexing enemies, whereas Jesue is more of the dashing rogue type, and just loves the sound of an interrupted enemy.

I'm quite satisfied with this, but if there's something you would like to change, please do tell me.
If everything if fine with you we can meet in-game.

Thank you very much!
Death By An Arrow
Thanks for the compliments.
I don't know if this comes as a disappointment, but after finishing art school I haven't really used any special tools or pencils for sketching (so lazy...). My pencil is a regular mechanical pencil with 0,5mm lead (usually HB or B).
But when I draw pencil portraits I tend to use Derwent Graphic Pencils.
Verene
Two characters is okay with me, would you like full body pictures or potraits?
