OK, I think I've finally figured this DA thing out! I've tried taking shots with my camera, but next time I'll have to use better lighting D:

This is a quick pic I did for Mina's workshop to celebrate Halloween since I didn't draw anything for the holiday:



Updated WiP for Verene's ranger I really need to learn how to get better shots D:

lol I know what you mean by the "rather silly" term. But Murke has a really adorable personality! I kinda miss our RPs now *blames Ran*

@Thistle - Verene's ranger is looking fantastic! And the demon girl turned out really great. I still need to do my own sketches for this week >_>

Thanks, raven When I have more free time, I want to go back and do some sketches for the first two weeks and do the rest of this week's poses! I didn't know stock photos like that existed, and it's such a great way to practice drawing

Thanks! Murke also gave me the great idea to make a copy and color the copy, so once I'm done with the shading, I'm going to see what I can do for color

Edit: Played with making chibis and figuring out how to work this tablet Made this chibi of Murke (hope you don't mind! still going to make your sketch for our trade ).


Another edit: Here's my fourth attempt at a chibi and figuring out my tablet. This one's of Verene's ranger and her lynx, because for some reason, I like drawing her ranger with a lynx o_O


I think this will be my last chibi for a while since I think I'm finally ready to color and finish up the other sketches

OMG, need to put down the tablet and get some actual work done >_<

lol, actually the hair was easy once I found the right brush to use I'm still having trouble with shading the face though, but I think I'm getting better after painting Verene's face. Thanks for getting the extra angles for me

I'm just going to post the links to my scrapbook with your current WiPs since I'm working on each of the different sketches bit by bit (I'm learning so much and having a blast) I'll stick to posting the final versions

So... I'm having a hard time digitally paint your other sketch, so I figured I'd take a step back and practice some anime style so I can understand shading a bit more...

I love how the ranger turned out and all the chibis are adorable! They actually look like they can be converted to plushie heads. (Not sure why I have plushies in my mind these days..I should draw)
