This right here is probably the reason why I have issues getting dates.

Hah!
I actually tease my fiance all the time about being so tall (he's 6'2"). He teases me back by saying that just makes me snuggle-sized

2,01m seems more convincing to me, I'm about 1,76m and that's pretty average sized. And doesn't anyone learn meters anymore? Everything I see something in strange measurements, I put up my ''not a clue'' face.

People do learn the metric system in grade school in the US.
But we all forget by the time of High School. Except for one thing: 2 Liter soda bottles.
I'll always remember my height is ~2 meters and that our 18 oz. soda bottles are .5 liters.

For the most part the metric system isn't used outside of science class or soda bottles in the US.

We use the metric system in science classes, but those are really just math problems. I've never actually had to compare a meter to feet. >.>
America! Yay.
Oh, and we use pounds, which is so funny, because the abbreviation is "lbs" and THAT makes no sense.

lb: libra, latin word for weight.
The word pound originates from libra pondo (pound weight).
The pound is the misplaced one, not the abbreviation, oddly enough.

I doubt it, a tall man has been shown to be more attractive to women, there must be another reason ^^

Converting between feet and meters is easy. Cooking measurements, on the other hand, make me rage. I swear, sometimes it's like people just make up their own measurements when sharing recipes, and then there's things like dry weight versus sifted weight etc, and why do bakers get their own dozen D:<
*angrily throws measuring cup*

You misunderstood what I meant. It's not that women don't find me attractive (though that does also seem to be a situation), but rather that they're too short for me (I get back pains from using sinks and shoveling snow, imagine how it is for me to kiss someone a foot and a half shorter than me?)

At the risk of taking this thread in the wrong direction....
You should try it sitting down, or better yet lying down. And if you must stay standing then do mention the back pain - you are likely to get a massage ^^

The cool thing about being taller is that you have a longer stomach region, and therefore you can afford a little extra weight. Since I'm so small I have to work super hard to keep a flat stomach, cuz if I have a bit of chub it really shows.
There's a ton of super cute in game outfits, if I could I'd have a closet full of them!
