Cosplay?
Has anyone here ever done Guild Wars cosplay?
Not a lot of people have because of the sheer complexity of the outfits. Once I tried to sew the Enchanter armor for a mesmer, but it totally failed.
Although I did put together a "generic mesmer" outfit, based on the essential, key elements of mesmer armor:
1. Lace/Embroidery
2. A mask
3. A dress
4. Fishnets
It was impromptu, but really fun, and it turned out super cute. I painted the mask myself but the rest of it is just stuff I've collected over the years.
Post yooooooooour generic Guild Wars profession cosplay?

There's a few cosplayers on here, actually!
I keep meaning to do a GW costume, but have never really had the time or money to do it; I kind of put cosplay as a hobby on hold a few years ago. Sadly. One of these days! Of course I've got other, quite huge cosplay projects coming up, so who knows.
That is also quite cute, I like the dress. I think my sister has a similar one.

Cailin, that looks great you made a wonderful job of the mask.
Yeah Tzu does amazing cosplays, she puts a lot of work in and knows some great techniques. Minamis ritualitst was lovely, and in th workshop she showed progress pics, that was a lot of work too.
I suggested to my guild that we went to Gamescon as commandos - but I dont think any of us have the time to make them

Awww, that sucks.
My fiancee and I are hopefully going to San Diego Comic Con this year; if we do I'll probably put together some sort of costume, either Doctor Who or Guild Wars related. We're still not sure if we'll be able to afford it this year though.

Thank you!
kopefjkaejf hjkdfhsd COMMANDO COSPLAY o: Do want.
@Lithril: The only assassin cosplay I could ever make is the starting armor, the rest of it is so...pointy and sharp and amazingly skin-tight.
I'd love to cosplay a rit, or even a monk. And all the mesmer armor is so glamorous (rogue armor would rock to cosplay), but...geez, I have NOT had that much practice sewing. xD

Well Sylvari are human sized, so that wouldn't help Jedi out much.

I already saw a few GW cosplayers running around like a nice derwish and elementalist i have seen nowhere on this forum before. (guess you could find them in cosplay forums)
I personally will wait for GW2. If they have some nice recognisable outfits i might give it a try.

When GW2 comes out I'm totally cosplaying a sylvari.
I'll go to Joanns and get fake plants and EVERYTHING. Custom made wig? I think so.
