Lady K's commishes [on hold]
due to life circumstances and stuff, I was sadly forced to shut down my commissions and projects--not only involving Guild Wars, but pretty much everything else with art.
I apologize deeply to anyone who wanted a picture from me. Hopefully sometime in the future I will be able to keep up with these sort of projects.
I will hope to return to Guru in the future with more art and a new system for commissions, until then, take care

I really like your style! I'm thinking waist-up (color) (something around mid-thigh/knee (like example #4) and/or style like in examples #4/7 would be awsome! I'd be willing to pay extra ).
Name: Frozen Ele
Reference Pics: Full Body, Head
Description: Generally regal and dignified.
Miscellaneous: Favorite weapon is a Canthan-Skinned Water Staff (I can provide reference pics with one if that makes it easier for you).

Oooh, I love your stuff - I'm a big fan of traditional art
Name: Verene
Character name: Lucia Cheval
References:
Picture type: Waist-up, full-color (coloring method is up to you ^^ the coloring in example #6 is my favorite though!)
Description/personality: The daughter of a minor noble family from Ascalon, Lucia 'rebelled' by joining the Ascalon Academy not long before the Searing. She has something of a dark sense of humor but is still largely a caring and patient woman who hasn't lost her sense of elegance; while she's not off helping to save the world she helps to train new Mesmers in Ascalon City. She's rubbish at interrupting (much to her chagrin) and prefers using Illusion Magic hexes instead.

Saving a spot! Details will come later ^^ I am interested in a waist up colored.
As for payment, would ectos be appealing to you? If not, I can go and sell them lol
Edit- Info:
Waist Up Colored - 40K
I really like how you drew this one:
http://www.majhost.com/gallery/LadyK...icle/tso22.jpg
Character: Ran
Reference pics:
http://roguemina.deviantart.com/art/...Roam-187690735
http://roguemina.deviantart.com/art/The-Hawk-178210046
http://roguemina.deviantart.com/art/...rest-196276037
Ran's features look quite refined for a common ranger but still with a hint of ruggedness. His deep, icy blue eyes are focused and penetrating. His long black hair is loosely tied together as it trails down his back. He is tall while his physique is lean and muscular -typical of a ranger.
Personality
Quiet and calculating. Ran rarely talks but when he does, people may view him as cold and uncaring. Maybe because he usually doesn't express emotion in his face and his words are direct.
Ran acts on his own accord even when he is known to be a part of a guild or group.
He does love to battle and is sometimes seen participating in the arenas when bored.

Ectos are generally used as a form of secondary currency amongst players; right now the going rate is about 8k per ecto (it's been pretty steadily at that for about a year now). You can always find people buying and selling ecto in Kamadan
And yay, thank you

You've already developed a lot as an artist, it's really gonna be fun to see how much more you'll learn while doing the commissions Personally, it has helped me develop a lot to take commissions. Do you plan on posting WIPs? (Pwetty please do!) :3

Well it didn't take long for me to get the funds. lol I can pay you in gold now. Looks like it's gonna be another Ran drawing because of that running joke with Thistle. My last question would be, does it have to be a GW-based armor? I am okay with either way

no it doesn't, as long as I can see a decent reference or the such so I can draw it properly : )

I couldn't agree more - both from personal experience and from what I've seen from you.
@Lady K
Very cool! I updated my original post with the details. Let me know if you find any problems and I'll change it. Ran has a few armors I could use that haven't been drawn yet lol

That's perfectly fine with me. As for coloring, I'm really liking Example 4 and Example 7, so whichever of those two would work best for you sounds good

Your artwork is stunning! I'd like to hop in the queue, if that's alright. I'd like a coloured picture from the waist up of my ranger:
She's Tyrian born and very close to nature and her surroundings, not all that civilized. She's a bit impulsive at times and can have a bit of a fiery temper.
Front - Back - Side - Face
Feel free to leave off the flowers.

I'd like to join que, also. I'm interested in a portrait-painting like art work, (kinda like your examples 1-3, 6, and 8.) I'll vie for the waist up in color.
Here are some basic pics from waist up taken in different poses. I made with and without helm pics to show you how the hair looks like so you can draw the hair down under the helm. I'd like the full details on my character also. Note that the third pic is longer than the rest to show the full background color theme I'd like for the drawing. I'm leaning towards the pose for pics 3 and 4 because it makes me think of the holy warrior/savior looking out into the horizon with a look of burden on his face for what he choose to do (saving stuff and delivering justice.) Although if you have a better way in mind to draw that expression better than how the pose look, go for it. That is, if you'll accept my que. The request may sound complicated, or demanding but hey, you did say it wouldn't hurt to ask. And anyways you have pics that resemble very much of my request, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

If you'd like, or don't like to take this, just say so in this thread. I'll check back to see what you think about it and if you want to talk.

Thistle Xandra: thank you very much. : )
ocelott: no problem; what type of medium would you like to me colour with?
Owik Gall: your request isn't too demanding at all, but thank you for the concern. I really like number three as well and I think I get what mood you want; I can also throw in a speedpaint of the backgorund to help with it.
I'll begin to work on these tomorrow, and by the end of the week I'll see if I can get this batch done. if i do lag, its because of college papers and being in bed a lot because of illnesses
on another note, i will being showing WIPS of all the requests, and other related GW art that I may do
