Oh, so would I. In about 10 minutes. That's why I use the highest SPF sunblock I can find
(family history of skin cancer and ridiculously fair skin? Yeah, no thanks, sun.)

Haven't stopped by here in ages. Your last GW piece came out looking really nice. If only the Draconic Scythe looked as cool as that in-game.
Also liking the attitude on Frost's Dervish. Seems like a total punk - in a good way.

I'm also in this boat of sunburn.
I used to have a joke about it... My skin only has two colors: Neon White and Ruby Red.
But it doesn't work anymore because I got a tad bit of tan. A tad.

thanks guys! I had a lovely time I don't usually burn immediately, but I also don't really tan... was really annoying when I got back to England, and some of the guys who'd stayed here had more of a tan than me after a week of Greece >.<
@ Charlie: cheers! I discovered the weird and wonderful world of brush settings lately, and have been trying to use different ones on the shala/corp piece. Definitely a learning curve there... some things worked, some didn't but I guess that's the way of things.
Now, I realise I'm probably about to get stoned for this, but after so many commissions, I was in desperate need of some personal art, particularly after watching some really helpful how-to-custom-brush tutorials lately (check out this guy). I have never been totally happy with my old Eryn OC armour design, so I went back and changed it
As you can see, it's similar to Eryn's GW attire, but I had something less bling and more functional in mind. Not that having holes in your chain mail is functional... nevermind Although I love the Dwarven skirt, I always feel it's a bit too girly for Eryn, so I changed that most. I'm really happy with it (for now), and also quite pleased with the level of detail in terms of painting. I feel like I'm slowly getting towards how I WANT to be painting like this, or this
If you steal this, things will get really nasty...

thanks guys I always feel that there's not enough chain mail in GuildWars
@the one: I'm not sure there will be a round 3... I'd quite like to get back to personal work at some point as well. I'll keep your request in mind, but no guarantees.
I started on Kenny's this afternoon, since I haven't had any comments on the dread mask [*AHEM* *hint hint* if u still hate it, u need to tell me!] - this is about 45mins in
borrowed pose from a Kratos figurine my new brushes are proving to be a great help

The armor design and style of your piece for Eryn is stunning. She looks tough and a bit rugged while still remaining feminine.
I also like this version of the Dread Mask quite a bit more than the previous one. Very creepy.
