Oh I see :P
Well, maybe it's my speciality ;O I've done 7 ponification - so far - of real people, making one of Shala wasn't too hard, but I was at a loss at what details to give her.

I'll be honest, I find the MLP cartoon style really really scary. ;_; I actually have a collection of the original toy figures, but the general style has changed considerably since then.
I still have to get around to taking a look at the animated series, heard it recommended a couple times by different people. I hope the exaggerated style doesn't turn me away though.
(Before I started gaming I drew almost exclusively horses, the anatomy of the pony style (the faces mostly) makes me want to hit something!!!)

I was put off by the animation style initially, but seriously, check it out. I grew up with MLP toys and stuff, but always hated the cartoons - the new one is great, and has plenty of funny little tidbits for adults as well

@Ariia: I can completely sympathize with your "fear". The old cartoons were a huge WTF and I never liked them either. Maybe if I had some LSD, but I'd probably get a bad trip since that's the kinda kid I was :S
Maybe the MLP style is adjusted for horse-anatomy challenged people like me? I mean, the front legs have no knees! They bend like rubber! D:
@Frostkisses: post up some screens and I'll get to your pony after I'm done with the commissions here. (since it will be a freebee, it's far down on the list)
@Verene: I'm a bit horrified curious about that new series... Everyone's loving it, despite the scary new ponies that are even more extreme than the old one. I might actually watch it D: :O
@Hailfall: I bet you didn't expect that ;D

It's all up on youtube, seriously, give it a try The first few episodes are very magical girl Sailormoon-style, and even though that doesn't continue past the first two (the creator wanted to keep it up but was told no), they're still very good. Very cutesy, yes, but also very intelligently written, the characters have a surprising amount of depth, and they're all very well-rounded.

@Verene - ohohoh, adult tidbits! (lol) I will be on the lookout for those. I'll give YT a search after exams today.
@Gemini - but... but they are made of rubber! (or was it plastic, close enough.)

@Verene: If nothing else, it will make purrfect entertainment while I have to wear the cream on my hands (can't do anything then, sooo boring Q_Q)
@Frostkisses: Oh yes indeed. Your pony can even have an apple :O
@Ariia: Well, yeah, but REAL horses aren't :X Real horses are big, massive awe-inspiring creatures that breaks you bones. (well, they're cute too and don't only break you bones, but it happens... a lot... I'm lucky I never broke anything, I had big horses stepping on my feet, and throwing me off. Yet; I still love them)

@Gemini - haha, yeah. I used to take riding lessons, fell once.. I consider myself lucky. Still love horses but I'm more of a bird person nowadays.
@IH - I'm not good at canines, but that's an idea I think I'm gonna try when I have time. d:

I already made a Ponification of HailFall's Shala, maybe you saw it on DA? :P
|
I hadn't seen her pony yet! She looks like a perfect pony version of her necro XD That's so cool!
Hmmm... I'd think the unicorns would be the assassins so they could be all stabby with their horns D: Uh oh... what would a warrior pony be? How would it hold its weapons D:

@IH: That'd be an interesting concept, but I'm absolutely terrible at drawing any canine ^^; Someone else would have to take that up. :P
@Ariia: The place I took riding lessons from had some really used up horses (a horse doesn't mentally feel very well being a school horse for too long) so I got thrown off about 4 or five times. For some reason, they liked to put us beginners on the most hard-rode horses. My brother had his foot caught in the thing you put your feet in and was dragged 3 rounds around the riding area. X_X
@Thistle: I think a pegasus pony would make a better assassin; death from above and all :O A warrior pony would be a normal pony, with sturdy strong hooves. Teeth and hooves, all the weapons a warrior needs! ;D
@Frostkisses: Indeed Maybe a spear in the mouth, or mounted on the side of a saddle..?

@Frostkisses: I was thinking something along the lines of that too; big strong beautiful horses with big hooves, and that nice hoof beard ^^
And about your pony; it's mostly so that I get the character you want ponified the most
@Morag: I agree, and big black wings (I imagine her with wings O.o)
And to my commissioners:
Please have this:
It's vector cola while you wait. Tasty vector art?
