I can potentially come sunday, solely dependent on time. I'm getting my new desktop tomorrow (yay ) but need to find a way to make internet happen in my room for it first. So depending on when I get home from my outtings sunday I could possibly. :S

Shamefully it took me this long to start reading the literature entries. I started my reading with Konig's "Primeval Darkness" and i gotta say: Wow! One of the first sentences of the story got my completely hooked and interested in the story: " “Desmina….” Konig said silently to himself as he watched the woman who died almost five centuries before."
I was sad when the story ended and hope you will finish it Konig! I absolutely have to know how the story ends !
I loved this workshop, learned a lot and had fun! So thanks everyone and congrats to everyone for their awesome pieces! And special congratulations of course to everyone who placed in the offical contest !!

Well, on Sunday I'm available until about 4pm Central time, and then I'll be back again after about 7:30-8pm, so if we were to do the party that day I'd have to duck out for a while.
(and thanks for the well wishes for my mom, guys - she's doing better but she is going to have to have surgery soon)

Seeing Verene's situation, and me already volunteering to organize the party, I will
Seeing multiple people indicate that A sunday is by far the best day for a party, it is beyond doubt that we should pick a sunday...
But, seeing various people already indicated that this sunday (6nov) isn't an option for them, i would like to suggest throwing the party next week on Sunday the 13th ...
this will also give the judges another week, and perhaps more important, it will give Verene another week to see how things develope, gather the judges results or appoint someone to take care of this, as well as appointing someone else to hand out the prizes if she is unable to do so herself ... it will also allow me some time to get the party bit organized so it can be planned in advance... And last but not least, sunday the 13th sounds like an appropriate date for a halloween related party ^^ ...
Anyone opposed to Sunday the 13th as the date for the Halloween Workshop Party?
As far as locations go, i think Tomb of the Primeval Kings was a good location, but if anyone knows a better spot for a post halloween party please let me know (i'll think of it myself aswell)
As far as time goes, i am thinking of doing a 6h party, mostlikely starting at 19:00h GMT (20:00h Europe time), which correlates to about 12:00-14:00h USA time (roughly speaking that is) ... this will give both sides of the ocean enough time to hop on ... and if there are australians, if i am not mistaken for them the time would be around 23:00-midnight, late for a sunday, but if you show up at the start you can atleast pick up your prize while you brush your teeth... i will mess with the times some more to get a decent coverage for most of the world within this 6h timeframe ... also in cooperation with gw-en, whom i will ask to provide the music and some on air trivia ...

Thanks Arghore. That sounds perfect to me.
We definately need a bit more time to get the judging sorted out.

Next next sunday (the 13th) would certainly be better for me; as of right now I have nothing planned whatsoever. Work is done for me this sunday for the season, so I'm pretty much free unless something pops up in real life.

Hopefully there are hardly any people opposed to sunday the 13th, i'll keep an eye out for this thread, but in the meantime we shall keep sunday the 13th as the day for the party
Seeing time is more important that location, the time will be up next ... seeing gw-en has 3h DJ-slots, it turned out that starting one hour earlier would pretty much fit the scedule @gw-en, meaning the party will be:
12:00h - 18:00h CST
18:00h - 24:00h GMT (thats 19:00h - 01:00h for most of main land Europe).
approx 04:30h - 10:30h Middle Australian Time (though i am not sure when you guys go outof summer time, which may change this to something else :/ and there seem to be 4 timezones in Australia, so i picked Adelaide as a point of reference.)
For all those not directly in any of those locations please use GMT to calculate your own starting times..
* if only the world were flat, then this whole time thing would be so much easier*
As far as the location goes, Tomb of the Primeval Kings is as good as any, so lets stick to that. And since we are comming from all corners of the world, lets go with the International District 1

Sounds good to me, Arghore. Not sure if I'll be around for the whole party, but I'm definitely better with it being next Sunday as THIS Sunday is the ski swap and this ski diva wants to go SHOPPING!!!! WEEOOO!

Did everyone already collect their in-game prizes already? I'm not sure what GM names I need to add other than Stephane's.
