Thanks everyone!

@Perynne - Thinking of making her left hand hold a dagger as well...Not sure about the right hand, either another dagger or place it on her waist? O_O

I miss RPing too! We havent RPed in awhile cos most of us are playing different games right now. But my guildmates and I keep in touch around the forums and skype. Plus we do forum RPs too. Been that way for years now so we became all friends through the years and not only through guild wars anymore.

lol Oh yeah sketching funny moments are fun. I got a few of them. They are old and really crappy though. I didnt put too much effort on them.

Hm, perhaps have one hand hold a dagger, and the other hand either on her waist, or making some kind of gesture?

Haha, those are really funny. XD I've done some random comics of several Dungeons & Dragons sessions I've been in, the comics are in the sketchblog of my website (www.shinanai.org). I haven't RPd online in aaaaages, I think the last one I did was an RP through IRC about.... uh... 5 years ago? It was super epic though. :3 Alternate history Victorian London with the Catholic church still in power, complete with alchemy and the Inquisition and everything. <3

It's great getting new friends through games and forums. :3

Thanks. :3 I tend to be fickle like that, and switch my drawing style every now and then.... although right now, my main goal is to go for realism.

Those daggers are fine. Perhaps a little flashy, but she won't mind being the centre of attention now and then. The sketch is looking good so far! The pose is working nicely now that both arms are visible.

yay. Thanks Pery *hug* I did not have any references for the hands and right arm so anyone who can let me know if it's off , I would appreciate it. Else, I'd be starting the shading tonight

About the dagger. I might change it actually because now that I think of it, it's kinda glowy and I kinda wanted a light bg. Didn't want it bring too much light source lol.

Hm... I think the arm is looking ok. So you can start shading now! I won't be able to continue Ran until Thursday sometime I think, since I'm out of town tomorrow, but he should be finished up sometime this weekend at the latest.

As for the dagger... well, Tomie goes for daggers that look like realistic daggers. She also used split chakrams for the longest time (her first green weapon was Falaharn's Split Chakrams, and the ones after that mostly had the same skin).
But yeah, up to you what kind of daggers you feel like drawing.

ooh Split Chakrams look cool!
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Split_Chakrams

These ones look great as well I think:
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Chromium_Shards
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Aureate_Daggers

I think I'd pick among those three (if the Chakrams look too big/distracting, I might choose between the two simpler ones).

Let me know if you got a personal preference

Oooh, the aureate daggers look awesome. Chromium Shards aren't too bad either... I think I'll leave the choice to you, I really like all three options. XD

Oh yeah, what kind of bow would you like for Ran?

Well judging from your reaction, Auerate daggers it is

Good question on Ran's bow. He's got several but the one that would have most impact on his storyline is the Hornbow - which was said to have belonged to his father.

I searched wiki and the hornbow I had for him was the mursaat one which I dont think fits because it looks like floating stones. So I prefer this one if possible

http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:...neshard%29.jpg

Later on he'd be using Felblade and an entirely different armor though lol

You can say my drawings are outdated as per their current storyline. But one of my first digital drawings of Ran was actually the version of him later on:

Allrighty. I'll draw that bow for him, it looks pretty good. Fellblade wouldn't work for his pose anymore, should've thought of a non-bow weapon before starting to draw him. XD

lol no the bow is perfect. That armor of him is his ranger-y/bow get up. If you drew the drakescale, that's where he'd use the Felblade. So yep what you have is perfect! Sorry I didn't explain myself so well. lol

Updated the first page with more info.

triple post.. I am such a rebel!

Uh to make up for this, I am offering 1 free traditional sketch (can be digital if I ended up sketching tonight) that I plan to do sometime today. I'll pick the first one just to keep this simple. <3

Just need screenshot and brief description of the character.

Farai, my super-serious Dervish who loves to dance. She's very short and is a follower of Lyssa. And her eyes are the same color as her hair. She blames Asuran magic for needing to wear glasses as she never needed them before spending time in Rata Sum.

She's pretty! Gonna work on it. *grabs her sketchpad*

I do have a blank sketch card that I can use. Maybe I'll try that. But yeah, I finished my stuff at work quicker than I thought. Got some free time today.

EDIT - This is done. Just need to scan it when I get home tonight

Thanks Charlie and Thistle.

Here's Verene's freebie. Sorry I have no idea how to make a clean scan...that or my sketches are just that messy >_<

Did this during Lunch Break. Prolly around 30-40 minutes. Also i don't know how to make highlights cos my eraser is actually a smudge tool lol.

No reference used so there might be some anatomical errors. Also didn't edit in photoshop except for the contrast/brightness thingy.
