Hi there everyone!

I have a proposition for all the artists out here: I need to make a nice Christmas card to send to my friends and family, and I'd like to have some made by means of a contest.

The idea is to make a funny, sweet, nice, beautiful or whatever you fancy card from one of these pictures: http://s145.photobucket.com/albums/r203/Sjeng77/Pets/

Contestants can choose any picture of Obi-Wan the cat.
I'll add text to the picture myself, so don't worry about that. You can always post your remarks along with your entry here.
You can enter as many times as you like!

Obviously, the theme is Christmas

Make sure the image is big enough to print on a postcard sized photo. If you've chosen a photo, and you need a bigger version, just pm me and I'll mail you the original (photobucket sizes them down).
If you feel up to it, you can also try your hand at drawing my cat!
The deadline is 2 weeks from now (on sunday), as I need time to print them and send them obviously.

I will choose 5 winners:
- 1st place will recieve 50k ingame gold
- 2nd place will receive 25k
- 3rd place will receive 15k
- 4th place will receive 10k
- 5th place will receive 5k

this is my idea....its take from one of your designs and changed using Photoshop. its basic but wintery.

looks a little better.......Space at bottom for Xmas Message, i would put a nice banner like this:

I hope more people will enter the contest, or it won't be much of a contest.
If I don't get at least 5 contestants, I'll cancel the contest.
Don't worry if you've already made something though, every finished piece that's posted here will get a payment for their trouble (I'm not that mean

Can you photoshop the pictures as much as you want or is there any limitations beyond the copyright laws?

Er, well, the idea is actually to either use a picture of my cat, or draw my cat. Pictures of other cats aren't really what I'm after

Though you may enter as many pieces as you like, you will only be elegible for one prize. Sending in more only improves your chances

So at least 5 people will win something. Seems fairest to me.

I watermarked it until the competition is over, I will e-mail you the non-watermarked version later.

I read the OP over again carefully, and I guess you only wanted photomanipulation. I didn't realize that fast enough, and I made a digital painting (though I tried to make the cat look like your cat as much as possible). Not sure if it qualifies at all, but since I finished it, might as well give it to you even if it doesn't qualify. The picture is slightly bigger than 4x6 (standard postcard size) for cropping purposes.

Standalone cat (with/without pawprints) available on request.
