I love the dynamic quality of the left spec, with the kneeling/crouching ranger.
And Pocahontas did turn out really well. You captured the facial features of the original animated character perfectly. (2D Disney animation is my wheelhouse -- I love seeing the works you come up with for those characters.)
Edit: Whoops -- posted too late.
Progress is looking great! (And actually so far divorced from your sketch that the kneeling/standing debate is kind of moot. )

Thanks love ^_^ I recently started to watch Disney movies again, i find them relaxing, songs are awesome and i adore how they are drawn ^_^, so there will be more Disney princess artwork soon
And about latest wip, im not feeling too confident in my skills right now, and im not sure if im going to pull this off the way i want Im afraid not to over-detail it. Im going to have ele with least details , and work my way toward warrior, cuz she will be most detailed in the whole picture. Im thinking about blurring most of the guardian, except maybe his hands.
Anyway, heres new wip:

oohh, i like this one! And pocahantos turned out nice (however her name is spelt). One question;
what is the warrior (guardian? the one on the left close to us) doing with their hand? It looks like it is palm to us, and thus swatting the air. are they trying to catch the arrow?
I really like the perspective of the piece! Potential to be really great

okay, so it IS palm facing us. I was seeing it both ways (kind of like an optical illusion, where you see two things when its really the same thing). Gotcha.
I think deflection shield is the right name. And the progress is looking good, keep it up! I like the light coming from the elementalist; it looks just right on the other characters around her.

The Pocahontas piece came out really lovely. Nice colors and feeling to it.
This new piece is coming along nicely. The poses look good, though the one with the sword looks a bit too relaxed to me. At the moment, it doesn't really feel like there's a lot of power being put into how she's holding the sword. I think it has to do with the positioning of her arm - they seem to be out in front of her.
If you take that pose and hold your arms in that position as if to swing something heavy, it feels very weak. There's more of a twist in the shoulders and torso. I think that would help make the pose feel more dynamic. Not to mention the nice negative shapes you could make in the spaces between her arms, body, and ele (I think it's an ele) behind her.

@DBAA yes, i might redraw his hand, idk. And i will have guardian with blue-ish lights, so it will mostly be blue vs red ^_^
@Charlie thanks love (congrats on winning btw ^_^ )
hmmmmmmm, ok, i tried to twist her a little bit.
wips:
first one is done before i read Charlies post After that, i tried to move her arms a little. Can't really have any balance if her left (our right) leg is positioned like that, so i redrew it. And last wip, defined her chest and head . Also, toned down eles boobies, cuz they were glowing >:| Added bg, maybe to work a little more on depth <_<

YESYESYESYES a thousand time yes. Me likey. It really looks like she's building up her power for a strong golf swing/upper cut slash. Really protecting her group like a warrior would.
Also, totally unrelated, but some envrionment concepts were posted on the arena.net blogfor GW2 which reminded me of that little envrionment study you did where you did 4-5 quick sketchs to try and get the overall feel. Just something that came to mind

Thanks, and I'm always happy to help.
There definitely feels like there's way more power in that stance. Looks really good. I kind of like the position of the head in the third frame a bit more than the fourth since it feels a bit more noble. The tilt in the fourth frame still works, though it seems kind of uncomfortable. Though I like the feeling it gives off - kind of a "sup, I have a big sword."
It's looking really good though, and I actually like the new right balanced composition a lot more. Keep on playing around with it.

@DBAA yeah, but those look way better :P
i still do those sort of mini paintings, when i don't have a lot of time, or don't know what to draw. Its great way to practice values.
@Charlie hmm, i tried that head on the 3rd frame, but , it was really weird, like her neck is broken or something.
And yes, she may be saying ""sup, I have a big sword." or perhaps, "Charge!!!" or "Attack!!" or "Spaaaaartaaaa!!!" or maybe even " My shoulder is going to fall offfff!!!" XD
Jokes on the side, heres a new wip:
Started to add details on warrior chick, she still needs more color on her skin, i don't want them all to look like they have fallen out of Asmodae. And her red hair will get some more adjustments, its too distracting atm.
And, i've been asked to help out a friend with a little face paint over. I was actually in the position to record the whole process, will upload video tomorrow. And finished version of my paint over in spoiler:

Why did you discard the first one? Possibly I just like any pic with a winegalss in it but she looks so relaxed.
