Definitely the left one imo. The right makes it too busy. Looking good, nice fishies

I like the right one but the "upflow" of her hair on the left side of the image seems unnatural. I know she's underwater and it's supposed to be a little messy but it seems gravity is taking too little effect on her her.

This is my first time browsing your thread, but the progress you've made in such a short time simply astounds me. Fantastic.
Sometimes, I feel like I've stagnated and can't get any better. But, to see someone improve so quickly, that gives me some hope. ^_^

I want sushi tonight.
Very lovely indeed. My vote is the left one.
I won't go into too much detail to describe how lovely your art is, and how wonderfully talented you are, nor how I would trade you my birth certificate for your immense art skill. However, the her hip does look a bit funny to me (the fold of the leg seem go up too high), and could also try some underwater lighting effect (since they shine differently under the wave).
Hope to see the finish soon.

My vote is for the left, too. I love the right one, but it's a little distracting.

Very nice. It is a shame we don't get to see more of her scales. I love the way she has her pearls wrapped around her finger.

I think I actually like this one better! It seems more mermaid-y, if that makes sense.

thanks Drelias (lol, sorry for the late replay )
im sorry for being quiet for a month or so, but... things have been rather, ummm... yes ... *trying to think some excuse*... yeah, i got nothing XD
anyway, here are some art updates:
Ariel and Flounder - everyone just kept going on and on about how she is way too old >_> So, this one features a bit younger Ariel
Paintover for Zverov - some color pointers for a friend, one hour and 30 minutes...
Here should go collaboration piece i did with a friend of mine, its done, but im still waiting for her to upload it on DA (she is kinda busy due to school and stuff). Will post it here when she uploads it.
And finally, my latest piece done for a contest: Tears From The Moon I have been working on this painting for a whole month, i've made like 50 sketches before i decided to go with this version >_> , and i don't know how much time this took (50h+).

Magik! That moon piece is so awesome; most certainly worth the 50+hours put into it! The clouds look really nice as well; were they a custom brush or were they all done by hand?
All of the effort you put into your pieces really do show, keep up the incredible progress

Ooh, these sketches looks so nice! And it's a bit funny that the autumn elf one is very similar to an idea I got this morning (of course, yours is turning out nicer). Please to post more WIPs as you go along? :3

Magik - That moon pic is wonderful. What competition is it for? Have you had the result yet?
I love the autumn fairy, looks good just as it is. But the headband looks a little odd to me, I cannot explain why.

@Gemini heheehhe, thank you sweetie *hugs* omg, that is so nice, will you finish it?
sure, i can post wips ^_^
@Aero thanks ^_^ its for a Digital-Art-Fantasy contest "Power of the Moon" over at DA. But, tbh, im not really expecting anything, theme is too generic and there are a lot of photomanips D: Should have expected that XD Deadline is 1st October, so i guess, i will know the results after day or two.
Yes, headband is total miss, removed it, i will paint detailed earring instead
And wips (30 min. of work on each)
Testing some colors schemes, not really sure which one i should pick, but im leaning more toward left one.
Just started to throw in some colors. Will stick to golds/yellows/reds on this painting. Im even thinking about making a line-art out of it, and post it for other artists to color ^_^
