I'm not a fan of cigarette's either, I have never smoked and I never will. But they just fit very well on certain characters.

About the cigs, I don't smoke either but I can understand how they can enhance certain picks. Also I doubt they advertise 'smoking is bad for your health' in steampunk era :P

People used to think it was good for the lungs.

It still made them smell like an old ashtray, turned their fingers and teeth yellow, deepened wrinkles and gave them emphysema. I cannot separate all that from the cigarette so it looks very unattractive to me, but thats my hang-up :P

@Raven and Magik: Heh, I'm glad to say I'm not the only guy that doesn't like Megan Fox. The reason I don't like her is because I think she represents a lot of things that are wrong with Hollywood - the main thing needed to make it big is just a pretty face, not actual acting chops.

Not to mention so many girls look up to her as a beauty icon, yet plastic surgery has completely ruined her face. I think that sends a bad message to the younger audience - you're never pretty enough, so inject these chemicals in your face.

And I've done a collab before. We basically just emailed the PSD back and forth, each working on a little bit of it at a time, until we were both happy with the results.

I once did a collab with Pery. Well, did.. We kind of got halfway, got busy with other stuff and still need to finish it someday

Anywho, I think its lots of fun, just do it with someone you feel comfortable with, so you don't need any rules or something. I found it most fun because it triggers your imagination the whole time. Once I started drawing I immediately got an idea in mind, but Pery didn't share that idea, drew something completely different to it, so I needed to think of something else. Great fun

Wow..that last drawing looks awesome. The colors of are so pretty.

About a collab. Well I do the coloring part so it's more like once the sketch/pencil part is done, I just take the drawing and color it. Got no problems with collabs thought it was pretty fun to see how my coloring style changes depending on the pencilled/inked drawing.

No no, not at all. An art trade is one is to draw something for the other, and gets a drawing in return. What me and Pery did was very different from that as we both worked on the same drawing, turn by turn, painting over each others stuff, shrinking, replacing, reshaping, rendering etc. etc. We sent the files over about 6 times and then it got kind of on hold

But ideally you'll be sending it over about 20 times or something like that, depending on what you do. If you are contacting an artists that's above your level you'll learn a lot from it too, because if (s)he paints on top of your work, you can see where you can improve.
Or of course, like Mina said, there is the coloring lineart collab.

About the .psd file, yeah it become too big for gmail or something after a while. But there are plenty of ways to exchange .psd, like dropbox, WeTransfer, or even dA (use scraps). But seriously, 500mb :O My paintings never get past the 100mb lol.

Yep. Yas has very nice lineart drawings. Too bad I have barely anymore contact with her.

@kajusbonus thank you. Unfortunately i've finished my divas set a while ago, and atm im not accepting any requests/commissions, sorry.

@Tomm i meant to say, you still depend on the artist you do collab with, to finish his part of the job. And yes, i know what an art trade is, i did a few, its a pity that only 2 artists bothered to finish their part of trade (out of 5 -_- )

About the file size, i work on very large canvas (minimum 4000x5000 300dpi, but most of the time it goes up to 10000x8000px 300dpi). Its not really the place where to put those psds the issue here, more like , i have to upload that sh*t god knows how many times and my uploading speed equals turtle XD

@IH yeah, its a shame she deactivated her DA
