Hair looks more uniform now, but both WIPs look fine to me -- one style is just a little "wilder" than the other. Down to personal choice, here.
As for the breast coverage issue, that's tricky. She's a nature girl...and she doesn't seem to be wearing anything for modesty on her bottom half, so wearing a "clothing" type covering on top wouldn't make sense. Coverage growing on her also doesn't make a whole lot of sense. So you're kind of stuck with obscuring the view, either with a foreground leaf as was suggested, or going the more cliched route of extending her hair a little bit to strategically cover the "offensive" features of her breasts.
This could require some serious brainstorming.
...Or you could skip that and go the "Fantasia" water nymphs route and make her breasts completely smooth... J/K.
Oh, P.S.: I like the facepaint idea! But I'm not sure I like that style.
(I know -- pick, pick, pick. Sorry! I critique the ones I really like. )

Now that the hiccup with my account is over and I can post again...
The background looks much better now. I'm terrible at critiquing - I never notice these things until after they're fixed. The second hairstyle is more fitting, I think - it looks, as Star said, a bit more wild than the first.
And I'd like to submit my vote for more Sylvari art some time!
I heard they were redesigning the Sylvari's models for the game, and I really hope they look something like this.

I say nudity!
Anyway, it appears you (Magik ) misunderstood me a bit considering the backlight, which of course is not a problem at all, because you can do whatever you like, as long as you like the end result But what I was trying to say it that I thought the bit of blue near her feet was really pleasant, the rest was a bit hard on the eye, but looking at it a bit closer that may be as well because there are some pink hues in there as well. Because of the great amount of green, the blue comes out very strong. I think if you use a bit of white and yellow here and there it will still look blue but less strong.
Ok finally able to finish this post as I was looking for this image:
Thats what I'm trying to get at with the backlight But again, its all up to your opinion!

Its lovely pic, I like the pose and the her face is beautiful.
The bresat coverings are problematic. I don't think you can worry too much about what Sylvari would do- it doesn't make any sense for them even to have breasts. Also once you have breasts of a certain size its very much more comfortable to have proper support.
I am totally convinced by Charlie - art cannot depend on whats makes sense in rl.
I would leave her naked - I don't the broblem with an strategically placed vine or something - after all the plants are huggging her legs already.

Well, sylvari mimic the humans buried where the Pale Tree grew, which is why they look pretty human.
The leaves do look odd...hmm. Unfortunately, since the redesign has yet to be revealed, we don't have much in the way of sylvari art to go on. There is this concept art by Kekai Kotaki, which is likely a Dark Court sylvari...this one, which I've always loved because it's very sweet and yet unhumanly fae-looking, and looks that it's likely a lot of your inspirations...and then this, which is obviously the old design, but still shows some potentials for clothes (very leafy, natural lines and colors).
If you don't want to go the actual clothing look...maybe a bark skin covering, like skin-tight (or a part of her), that goes up her side and covers her breasts?

oh ok, prepare yourself for a huge post (and yes, im typing this in notepad in case Opera decides to play dead on me D
@IH hmm, yes, srry i didn't understand what you were trying to say :S tried a few different ways (in wips below) Btw, idk how they breastfeed their babies, and i don't wanna find out XD
@Star yes, i like the "wilder" one better, but for the sake of her "chest issue" i messed with her hair as well I think smooth breasts look too weird (and creepy :P ) And after closer look on that face paint, i went on and changed it, also added a few stripes on her body.
I can only thank you for your critique and encourage you to post more, because posts like yours and many others here help me greatly in improving my art skills ^_^
@Drelias yeah, i've heard that they were redesigning them, too. And don't worry about critiques
@Tomm ok. Well, i've put some light rays falling there, with yellow and bright (near white) yellow. Yes, there are some pink hues as well. Sorry for misunderstanding :3
@Aero i don't really see how she would look without breasts, so i'll leave them on examples of new breasts below
@Verene i can't open the first image, and yes im using the second one as loose reference. On a plus side of not knowing how sylvari actually look, is giving me a whole lot of freedom in designing this particular sylvari
And wips:
Right rays wip (will probably add more details there)
Face close-up:
And let the brainstorming begin:
Body paint version (on one theres a bit more hair)
Vines ( i don't really like this one, just wanted to show it, just in case):
IH's idea with plants covering her breasts (instead of her hair, i tried putting there flying butterfly, snake, and poison ivy. So far, it goes best with her hair):
Star's idea to cover them only with her hair:
I think thats about it XD

The eyelashes are a little distracting, but otherwise, I think my favorite of the group is Body Paint Version 1. The more I see of this, the more excited I get to see it finished!

Haha, part of the URL on the first link I posted got hit by the site censor. I replaced it with a tinyurl redirect so it should work.
Anyway, I like the bodypaint ones the best, particularly the first one. Maybe make them match her skintone and hair colors a bit closer, though?

I vote for the bodypaint one with shorter hair. That one seems to fit best.
