Righto, its the eyes that I think is my favorite part of your portraits. Looking really good so far, though the front of her nose could be defined a bit more to look less round.

I love Perynne's piece, It's beautiful *considers future commission* ^^ And from your gallery I think 'Sand' or 'Water Djinn,' leaning more towards Sand. I love the exotic look to her, I think there's a lot of potential in her imagery, there's a story to be told in there somewhere

She looks beautiful. I love the landscape and the pinkish hue gives it a feminine touch but she looks like a tough girl at the same time. Must be the determined look in those pretty eyes.
I love the flying blurry petals too *_*

Thank you soooooo much! I love it! <3 She's looking really beautiful and serene, and I just can't stop admiring the background. It suits her so well.
Thank you again! I hope to get ingame as soon as possible so I can properly pay you for this.

@Skiasca thanks, but i think i won't reopen commission again (I got like 10 more people asking for commission after i closed them D: )
Yeah, i was actually thinking about Sand too, but i have plenty of time to decide i guess
Thanks Mina
*hugs Perynne*
@Thistle thanks
yes, it really does *cries*
Well, i started to use 2 programs after seeing some amazing art of Katarina Sokolova-Latans'ka (she was my main inspiration to actually start with digital art in the first place ). At first i was like all other digital painter beginners, though that photoshop is better, but the truth is it's better to combine two programs to get better results. I can see a lot of people say how painter is too complicated to use, but its not really, its actually pretty easy. With photoshop you can load 1000+ custom brushes and still won't find the ones you need, with painter you already have more then enough brushes which work really nice for painting faces (Oils brushes for eg.) . I also find blending to be much easier in painter then in ps, even without the use of blender brush (which is good for blending smaller areas and adding texture). Painting eyes, eyelashes, skin, hair, lips also in painter. When i finish with character, i use photoshop to add textures, its much easier to do that in ps, because burn/dodge tool has 3 levels of highlights and shadows unlike painter. Also, color correction is better to do in photoshop (because of the "adjustments" options, and one of my favorite option for color balance "Variants"). You can control every color found on the picture and i like that. Also, i find painting background much easier in photoshop then in painter...

Oh! I had to look Painter up and didn't realize it's a Corel product :O That makes more sense! I thought it was something very specific that you were using since I didn't realize you were referring to it in the way people now say CS# when talking about Photoshop.
I really like the way you use oil brushes btw!

Aww, shame to hear you won't be opening commissions again.
Perynne's ranger looks lovely! Strong, independent, yet serene... Just as a ranger should be.

I understand the reasoning, and I'm just being greedy. xD I do love my picture of Illharess.
The labyrinth is really cool! It reminds me of some of the loading screens. I love how many straight lines there are. It's a nifty effect.

What?! Oh nooooooooo, bah, I should have reserved a spot when I had a chance (I will still be hoping you will change your mind after some break maybe)
Your last work is stunning as always, I love Perynne's ranger and how you made the landscape look Asian, reminds of Shing Jea a bit Niiice!
And the labyrinth is cool, looks like a proffesional concept art piece, and I wanna play the game based on it

@Tommy actually no, divine proportion option on painter when i don't need to present sketch to the commissioner, when i don't really need any sketch (just block the colors in and add some details with hard brush so i don't forget to add them later in the picture)... And it generally works better then my "guidelines" lol, i moved her eyes like 10 times before i decided to leave them a little lower than my "guideline" shows -_-
@Phoebe haha, thanks, but i think its far from being professional :P i was just practicing perspective a little

thanks Mina, i guess you won't be glad to hear that i scraped this picture then XD
I just couldn't make it happen, her face looks nice on sketch, but whenever i try to color it, it doesn't look nice, and i tried 3 different palettes before i switched to b/w >_< the more i work on it, the worse it gets idk if other artists have this problem, its like an art block for only one picture so i abandoned this and made completely different sketch, with not so much details on it... And i already feel better about it, and found perfect colors i'll use for it :3
heres the crown wip:

That's my definition of Art Block in my case. I always have something that I want to draw but it's another story if I can't draw it the way I want to =S
I really liked that older sketch though but the crown looks beautiful so far. I am sure whatever your new idea is will be just as awesome or even better
