anyway, i thought i will finish ele today, but that was before i started to add those little details on skin and on water, and boy oh boy painting water is soooo time consuming :X i'll post tomorrow next profession, so you can provide screens of your smexy chars =D

I didn't mean that it would make it extremely realistic, IH. =/ One hit kills wouldn't be fun (unless they're rare like sniper shot or something) but it couldn't hurt to add a bit of blood. I wasn't saying it had to be just like real life - after all, we're casting spells and raising the dead in GW, but the characters are still supposed to bleed. Hell, there's even a condition in-game for it.

But I think that if even a little bit of blood is added, it won't be a 12+ game anymore.

That's probably why it wasn't added in the first place.

If they can't market it to the younger crowd, they'll get less money. Judging by the Hunter's Call video, though, it looks like they will have something resembling blood in Guild Wars 2.

I think they addressed that whole "red cloud" from the preview vids in a blog. I remember reading about it but cant find which one atm. They did say it wasnt blood but only a "hit indicator" I guess instead of the enemy flashing red like it does in gw1. And that it was because they didnt want to lose the rating.

Hah, I think we all used water, but yours was the one that used it as primary, Frost.

No matter who the lucky ele is, I'm still excited to see it.

Ah, that's a little disappointing.

It did come out as a ring around the enemy's neck and sort of looked like blood but... Not. O well.

ooh, i srsly doubt that this day can get any worse, but the day is not over yet :S.... anyway, when i finally found little time to draw, power went off because of the stupid storm -__________________________________________________ _- i guess one of the eles found out she isn't on the picture and sent storm at me out of vengeance :OOOOOOOOOOOOOO

as for the next profession, i choose yet another class i don't have, Ranger. So i guess you boys and girls can start posting your lovely rangers. Small note: beside ref. pictures please include which pet and armor is your favorite (pet is optional, because i already know which one i'll draw >

Here's my Ranger: Terran Ghost. She usually wears her Blindfold, but you can take it off if you don't too.

And she has a Black Wolf as pet.

I can't do arty screenshots but here is Aero. She has all pets, and she is fond of them all but her Melandru's stalker was her first.
We are hoping for jingle Melandrus this year

She has a variety of armours too, but tends to take of her gloves and boots when she is at the beach (her favourite place), or when she is relaxing, or sleeping, or really drunk. And she can rarely find them for the 10% of the time :P

Your art is so pretty! And you have really improved a lot, holy cow! If you finish all the professions I think I may texmod them onto the character creation screen, just to see how they'd look (awesome).

My ranger Perynne:

She's my main character. Her pet is always a bird - usually the Imperial Phoenix. Either of the above armors are good, although I tend to switch armors on her based on my mood. :P

And aw, I hope you'll manage to finish the ele drawing soon.
