I think because you don't have a lot of human references people are a bit turned off? Maybe sketch your own character or check out the Art Wanted database (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/a...t10473640.html).

i do think everything i posted had some sort of character in it... i don't know what you mean. And yes maybe i should sketch my character. I already did it tho, but i'm afraid i lost it..

You have a demon looking guy, a non-demon looking guy with horns and a bird perched on them and a pin-up looking poster with nurse girls. None of those are really fantasy or guild-wars related. I personally like to see other related artwork before I request anything.

Also if you'd put some more effort into your thread people might be interested, you should also read the Opening Commission Threads & look into using prefixes (I added it for you this time).

Looking at your art, you seem to have a pretty detailed, painterly style...I would suggest something like 50k for busts/portraits, and 100k+ for full body pictures. With backgrounds, you could probably go even higher.

When it comes to getting commissions, it will probably take a few days to generate interest. Examples of previous commissions usually make things go faster. Examples of your own characters would work too.

Agreed with Sierraa and Nikhera.. I like your style but I'm not sure how well it would go with my characters (which are all female and more on the cute side of the cute<-->sexy spectrum) ... I would possibly be interested in a commission, but pricing is a big question mark right now. How many hours of work does it take you to finish a painting? I generally price based on 50% end product and 50% time spent.

If you want to start 'making money' right away without working on sample pictures first, I would be interested in a greyscale bust painting of one of my mesmer for 20k. I hope you aren't offended by the price. The reason it is so low is because I don't know what to expect yet. If it turns out well I will definitely tip.

- Please do NOT draw her with large boobs, curves, etc! She is not supposed to be alluring.
- If it helps, think of her as an assassin wearing mesmer clothing.

Oh my goodness, that was incredibly fast - and I love it! When I find you ingame I will be paying quite a bit more than 20k.

Do you have a photobucket account? Unless the full version is over 1MB, you should be able to upload it on there and just send me the URL.
p.s. do you have a version without the butterflies? I may consider using this for an avatar/display in the future...
