Alright, I was just wondering how you cut out the characters so neatly from their original backgrounds. Usually I can achieve that but I use the eraser tool (lulz) since I usually can't get the magic wand tolerance right or it leaves me jaggies. Just wondering what you use that's most likely faster and better.

I don't know exactly how he does it, but in Photoshop, the pen tool completely and totally destroys both the eraser and the magic wand. It's a billion times more precise.

Layer masks are the other good way of cutting things out of their backgrounds in Photoshop.

I see. Every time i experiment with the pen tool I always mess up though, lol. =P I guess it's time I take it off the back burner and actually learn how to use it properly.

its a mess when i cut it out too. i just clean it up manually and paint manually where needed.
