Ephraim Morgan's Art (Digital)
This is all art I did for GW1/GW2.
First one is a quick, mouse-drawn painting of him in the crystal desert, during his pilgrimage to become Ascended. I know it's not very good, but I hope you enjoy it.
This is Ephraim's spear impaled as a quasi-monument, on Canthan soil.
Here's a pic of Kuunavaang in her celestial form, rising into the heavens.
This is a pic I did by taking a screenshot of Ephraim, then editting over it and removing the original (or most of it.) This was the most difficult because of my being limited to a mouse.
This is a new piece I did of Tequatl the Sunless (Again, with a mouse and CS5). I enjoyed this one, even the crappy work I did on Tequatl!
This is a pic of my GW2 character Ragnar glancing over a mountain range. (He's a staff guardian.)
This is Ragnar using his Guardian powers to crash away a water elementalist's wave attack :P

Yup, all you need to paint digitally is a good program and a nice set of brushes for that program.
Is it really that good? :P Everybody seems to like the crystal desert one, heh.

These are really good--they are simple, but in that good way of simple--sometimes people get so carried away with details and such they forget that sometimes the direct approach is the best. I really like how you choose a basic colour pallette, and seem to create something from the haze of soft colours and moods.
and I can definitely tell you have the patients and work ethic if you can put up with a mouse and still do great work like that first one. very impressive
keep it up, would love to see what else you do

Ah, thanks Sometimes it feels like cheating, because it's become really easy to me... but, people seem to like my art and that's what really matters You'll definitely see more to come!

I agree with others, best thing about these, are that they are simple. And still can get the idea across. I hope you plan on doing more!

I love the atmosphere in your pieces and the colours in the water one are gorgeous. Seeing those two together the chars poses are very similar, it would be nice to see the chars a little more clearly especially in the Ragnar one.

Without a tablet, it's very hard to get a defined character down. I got kinda close in the mountain one, if you look at the larger piece. I'm doing these all with a mouse XD

I like the detail on the eyepatch of your screenshot paint-over.
Although working with mouse requires patience and doesn't have the benefits of pressure sensitivity, it is by no means impossible to create detail with a mouse. Don't forget that you can zoom in and change your brush settings.

I really like the last one you posted. Those waves look so deadly but refreshing. Reminds me of the beach.
