I like the idea, though the strong dark colors cover up a lot of the finer details. Really hard to see unless you blow the image up and zoom in close. Try to keep away from actively using extremely dark shades on just the black and white scale. Instead, try using very dark browns, reds, greens, blues, etc. It'll help from flattening the colors and add a nicer color variation.

Yea, I know Charlie never use pure black on most pieces,but I'm not sure if this picture is coming out correctly. He's clothes are actually dark green-blue. Maybe I messed up the upload or something. Or is my computer screen crazy? Hmm....but thanks for reminding about that because I do forget :P

Thank you Gattsu ^^. I'm glad to see you are still around. I hope all is well!
Yeah that wristwatch was quite a challenge, took a long amount of time. My wrist and fingers are still sore.
I wish I had a better camera. It looks much better in person.

I actually don't visit guru too often. Skyrim has sapped away my time from all things GW related lol. This is the first time in ages I've posted anything on guru.

@Gattsu05: Then I feel very honoured that I received your return post.
@Tommy: thx after studying color theory I found a much simple way to blend.
@DBAA: thank you! In class we studied realism, and my group did hyperphotorealism. I have been vigorously practicing those techniques.

@Aeronwen: thx
Another exercise. This time it is the legs, plus an old, old, old drawing from facebook, using the "Graffiti" application. I promise to start on the Wintersday project ASAP!
Have a safe and wonderful Holiday everyone!

@Higherminion&Olle: Lol thank you both for your interest, however right now I'm very busy. Trying to finish the Wintersday workshop and I have other projects for other places. However, as soon as I have time I would be honoured to draw both your characters.

I like the seascape Black. I would like to see a larger version.
It reminds me of one of my favourite local artists, Andrew Bailey, he has a wonderful way with waves, but it does not really show up well on a screen.
What do you mean 'start', I hope the workshop piece is nearly done.

@Ravenhawk: thankyou <3!
@Aeronwen: I think that is big as I can make it. The program it was used on had a very small canvas with very little tools.
Here's a wintersday update, decided to do it in pencil
