I have peace with the pose and the color aswell. Just the mouth lacks power and expression imo.
Anyway, here is some more progress.
@Verene, is there any scythe you prefer? Think Elegant is the best fitting.

Very nice. I love how smooth the fabric is in your painting, especially on the Derv. It looks so shiny and real! O_O

Exam week BOOOO!
Working on Verene/Frost pic YAAAY!
I really hope you do get around to finishing! I dont know if its too late to say anything but the breasts seem a lil far apart for how large they are. Just a touch inward maybe?

I suppose they are falling forward so they look bigger, but then would there be that shadow around the top? It all looks remarkably uncomfortable.

Oooh, I like Farai's armor.
And sorry for the late response - Elegant is still my favorite scythe, though I usually use Oppressor's as of late (because that's the one I have modded currently - too lazy to mod scythes, haha).

Suppose you're right. There are more things off though, like her face looks like its removed 30cm from her body, floating in front of her. Also her left arm is up too high. I'm really messy when it comes to layers, so sadly I can't all bend it up a little and paint on top of it. Considering redoing the complete upperbody, perhaps bend her more backwards, like the Ele's do in game. Only time will tell
@ Verene, Np, and I'll have a go at the elegant scythe, its (one of) my favorite too I'll make it a bit larger to make Farai look smaller. She is smaller compared to frost (seeing how she is more on the front and all) but if you look at the whole composition you wouldn't really tell. So hopefully the scythe will add some to it!
@ Aero, I've got no excuse for drawing those lauzy boobs. No excuse what so ever. You are right, the should fall, but they don't. It looks like Frost had small boobs and went to the surgeon to have them filled up with a whole lot of plastic. I'll have a look at it again, thnx
This is why I like it here so much, feedback all the way! Thnx everyone

Thnx And well I love having layers. I just hate painting in the wrong one. Especially if you ctrl+x after you changed layer and it jumps back to the previous layer >.> Next time I promise myself to use only 3 layers per character (body, armor & details/highlights) and 2 for the background. See if I can stick to that

Put the layers in groups and lock them if you're not working on them, it helps.
And yay for making Farai look smaller, because she really is a petite Dervish XD

Thought its time to share a bigger version so here it is Exam week is over, easy peasy this time is seems (hope my grades correspond to my feelings ) so I could draw again today Tomorrow I'm free as well, hopefully I can do enough to finish frost (gonna rework the boobies and her arm) as well as render the characters a bit more and give them those final touch ups. Because saturday I leave to Berlin for a few days Hopefully it'll be finished before that, depending on how much I can get done tomorrow
Edit: @Verene, would you like these arms? Or prefer less muscle. I mean I understand if she's little, but she still needs to be able to swing that scythe And.. I like drawing muscles. But let me know if you prefer thinner arms, perhaps it helps benefit her smallness, as the still looks pretty normalsized..

I think the arms look fine - yes, she's small, but she has to be pretty strong to be able to swing around a scythe like that

It's great to see you're still growing, tommy, still challenging yourself and profiting from it. I like where your style is taking you, I think you're getting closer and closer to your inspirations with every drawing. Keep working on anatomy and composition though, you're getting much better at it but not quite as quickly as you're getting better at rendering.

Thnx Tzu Upcoming drawings are going to more focused on composition, since that is something my previous works has really lacked (Single character just standing). So I hope I'll improve some there soon :3
Finished Farai, Frost is going to have to wait till I return from Berlin

Yay
I think my favorite thing is how her hair is kind of mussed up - I love the intricate hairstyles that Dervishes have, but realistically speaking, they're not going to stay all perfect like that in the heat of battle ^^
