I used that brush partly. I did most of the hair withone of those ps-standard hard edge brushes, then locked the layer and added shading on the hair with a rough edged brush, unlocked the layer and started smudging with the brush posted above at a bit of a big size, then continued smudging at a higher strenght and smaller brush for some small strands of hair. I really like the brush though, if you use it on a bigger size you notice you get a 'real brush' look, imo better then those realistic brushes adobe added in PS CS5.
And glad to hear you like it Nian <3 And thnx IH :3
Edit
Oh also had this lying around, party is now already over so I figure I could upload it. Text is in dutch so a few you will understand what it says, though its not really interesting xd I know have it printed on poster on A1 size, think I'm gonna put it in my room ;3
Please full-view on dA.

Nian gave me a freecard to make a true genuine Tommy-armor design ^^ So I'm gonna have a go at a sort of skirt with labyrinth mixture, a bit of a monk/rit combo Still need to think it around a bit, here is a start of it.
Still debating if I want to make her head a bit smaller, its her head that makes her look cute, smalling it make her chest look a lot broader.

Yeah, her head does look quite big compared to her arms and stuff. It doesn't have to be THAT much smaller, just a little bit in my oppinion.

Oohh still lovely <3 Oh I kind of like the large head, it's cute like you said. She seems that way ingame too because of the giant hair buns. :P

Some more progress. Added some ambient light, made her head a bit smaller after all, some small changes to the body aswell, think it looks a bit more balanced now. As for the armor, I still don't know what I'm gonna do, must say I'm really liking this very simple pover wrapping, really something a Monk could wear Meh, I'll have to think things over. Hopefully I can finish the hands and spellcasting animation tomorrow.

The head looks better proportioned now.
However, now she looks a little thin in the arms... and her shoulders might be too broad. But that might just be me.
it looks really nice so far though, the detail in the face is amazing!

Funny thing is I slimmed her shoulders down from the previous, just because I made her arms thinner aswell she looks broad. What proportions can do.. I must disagree that she looks too broad, if it wasn't for the fact that her right shoulder is longer, so it might be that, I already made sort of symatrical again. So in my current photoshop version I think she looks correct . Thnx for pointing it out though :3

Proportion of the head does look a lot better. She's so cute, I want to pinch her cheeks!
And yeah, arm could be a little less thin but it looks good as it is to me either way

I don't get this kind of stuff. :P Why do people want to pinch people, it only causes some pain. You don't pinch a cute bunny now do you? :P

I have my violent tendencies and this is one way to release them without getting in too much trouble. *sage nod*

I don't think the shoulders are too broad either, but her arms are a little on the skinny side. Perhaps broaden them on the side closest to her chest? That way it won't add any broadening to her shoulders.
I love how she looks so far! The soft, ambient light is definitely making her look even cuter, and re-sizing her head really didn't take away any of her pretty looks. :3 Her skin looks so smooth and soft... makes me want to just reach out and stroke it and feel the softness.
Awesome job Tommy's, in my opinion this is so far one of your best paintings.

Now lets pray the hands won't ruïn it (which they are doing at their current state). I really really should spend some time studying hands and feet because they are messy now! D:<

Yeah, I think the shoulders looked broad to me because of the arms; they just looked broad in comparisson to her arms, not necessarily the rest of her body.

Thnx! I rarely flip my images. I work in 300-400dpi @ A4 size most of the time, and it sometimes took 5 minutes to flip my image on my old computer. And so the habbit slipped away. I should use it again soon, thnx for reminding me <3
