wow, she looks imposing. Your 'sketch' looked finished already (in a speed paint kind of way...she kinda reminds me of a very beautiful statue). My favorite part is the face so far.

This looks amazing, Charlie. I really like how you paint horns! Do you use special brushes when you do these initial steps or wait until the end for texturing?

wow. i really wish i could think of something more intellectual to say--but wow. your art is extremely inspiring, it has so much to it--not just in terms of talent and how well you may how to draw something, but it has this lively depth to it...lots of layers, where I can spend a long time just looking at a picture, peeling apart it as I learn more and enjoy more. your choices of colour is very alluring and unique from what I'm used to. I love it.
your scenery work is the most inspiring for me, as i'm trying lately to learn more on that area--but your people are amazing as well. the detail and shading makes it just stand out. and of course, how you set up your main page is quite appealing.
can't wait to see more from you, i really love it. *subscribes to thread*

Pink is a funny color to me. It's synonymous with girly stuff. But it's also the color of guts, flesh and insides. Dunno, I guess it just...
@V: Houses are like cat-nip to Kralky.
@Tuna: Here's to hoping I make it somewhere into the art industry.

Just as blue used to be considered a feminine color.

Really neat! I got goosebumps when they released the video of this bad boy. I like it "alot"...
and I by no means want to rain on your parade Charliepai,
But I believe you're mistaking the The Shatterer for Kralkatorrik . The Shatterer IS one of his lieutenants tho
Unless you meant for them to look similar...then disreguard my ^infos

@Magik: Thanks, Magik
@Aero: I like it more for the alternate meaning than the feminine.
@V: At least girls can pull off both blue and pink.

Pft, I forgot that GW2 wiki page existed. Anyways, as for the identity of the dragon, this is supposed to be Kralk, not the Shatterer. Since the Shatterer is a minion of Kralk, I wanted there to be a relationship in terms of how they looked - lightning and lots of angles of the sort.
Here's Kekai's concept:
But the main difference I wanted to make is the shape of him. Instead of going with the usual serpent-like quality that defines most dragon designs, I wanted to make Kralk more geometric and blocky since he's the "Crystal Dragon". Because if I somehow get around to drawing all the dragons, I want there to be a distinct visual difference in shape between each of them. So if you were to flip him around in a profile view, he would be a heavy-set rectangular shape in comparison to The Shatterer's upright posture.

I kinda figured the that you would want them to look similar, but I thought I would bring it up just in case. Either way, its still amazing
