News for Nolani!

After a bit of discussion the mods of Nolani have decided to revamp a few things. The biggest change is the addition of prefixes. We've gotten rid of the old 'Artists Check In Here... (Big List of Open Commissions)' sticky in favor of this new system. Most of the current commissions threads have already been updated with the new tag if we've incorrectly tagged your thread, feel free to change it. :]

...but how do I change my prefix?
It's easy! If you're familiar with the Ventari's prefix system you'll find that Nolani's is no different. Simply click

on your opening post, then click "Go Advanced". Under "Title" select the appropriate prefix then click "Save Changes".

I can't changed my prefix! D:
It happens. :( If your thread was made before the changes are implemented, or has been inactive for a while (month +) you can't change it anymore. If you would like to keep your thread, please message me or any of the other Nolani moderators and we'll gladly add the prefix for you. :] After we've added it you should be able to change it yourself.

Updated this~ There's been a lot of people coming back and not being able to change their prefix. Hopefully this helps. :]

Sierraa, would there be a way to add "Gallery" to the available prefixes? In case someone wants to make a gallery thread for their stuff but has no intention of it ever being a commission thread, that sort of thing.

That would be kind of cool. Something like that would suit my thread more than an "open/closed" prefix.

We talked about it a little bit and we kinda decided that commissions were the only thing we really needed prefixes for. :( I'll definitely bring it up to the other mods/admins again and let you guys know the outcome. :]

When we originally talked about what prefixes to use, we had to look at activity too. D: There's really not a lot of writing or galleries, so we didn't see the need of labeling everything. Not to mention~ The admins told us we can't have more prefixes than Ventari's. Personally I think commission prefixes are enough for now, we wanted them so users could update their own commission status instead of relying on us (the mods) to update the huge list we had.

I did send a PM to Slayer & Konig about possibly adding them though.

Update from the mods!

A gallery prefix would be useful, but adding it would mean having to add other prefixes, and we'd be getting close (& possibly over) our admin-imposed prefix limit. (We are lowly mods...) :( I think it works fine how it is now. Sorry guys <3 D: If there's a significant increase in activity I'll be sure to bring it up again to everyone. I'll look into other ways of displaying galleries for as well~ Maybe I can find a better alternative to a prefix. :D
