GWG gets plugged.
It's only just now Saturday on the East Coast, and already this BWE has proven to be.. interesting. As someone who got their start on forums first, sites later, it becomes easy to view only tangibles as a measure of success. Example being, if a lot of people post in your forums, then your site is probably doing well. It's easy to overlook the countless number of people who will visit a site purely for the information and never touch the forums (or at least, never register) so you're not really sure .. just how much of an impact you're having on the community.
However, all day, i've seen people plugging our site left and right. In extreme cases, i'd even be in the middle of answering someone's question (albiet, on a different character name .. people most likely don't know it's me) and someone else will simply tell them to 'Go check Guild Wars Guru.' It's nice to see the work that we've been doing is really getting out there - so thanks to everyone who puts in the good word for us, it's really appreciated in that 'warm and fuzzy' kind of way.

Makes me angry I did not register sooner. I was too focused on getting back to the LE forums :/

I, too, have noticed the rampant hype surrounding things here, although it's of a slightly more personal nature. I must have had five poeple come up to me today and tell me how much they enjoyed reading the articles here while preparing for the BWE. And, well, that sort of affirmation is much appreciated. So, I'll second the thanks to everyone reading. Now get out there and play, people.

Not only that.. but GWG is also being linked to from forums of other games.
And I didn't even have anything to do with advertising it! Great job guys.

I had nothing to do with this at all, but I say Good Job! I used it for a while before I registered, but I felt like actually getting to know people before the final game came out, and this seemed like the best community of them all.
