The Ring was great. I don't think the sequel will be anywhere near as good at the original (as with most sequels that aren't trilogies). I think a better storyline for The Ring 2 would actually be a prequel that tells the story of the little girl.

Part1: usually got the "shock-moment" in most horror-movies, you don't know what's actually going on there and what may happen next
Part2: boooring - thing from the first part come back...only thing you won't know is when..

Best Example: Freddy Krüger (Nightmare on Elmstreet), Scream 1-3, any Jason/Michael Meyers Movies...
The Ring 2 won't make a difference.

But it's everywhere the same, not only movies, same for games like Resident Evil, maybe different "end-bosses" but hey, it's all about the Zombies..
