Beard + Man would be sterotyped as either an old wacko, an old wise man, a hermit, a beggar .. You name it.

I do have a beard, but not one of those big poofy lumberjack beards. It's short and well trimmed... very metro.

I always thought a beard was a female married to a gay man.
So you're a 'metrosexual' Soul? No facial hair for me anymore... though my wife begs for me to grow back a P-tickler all the time.

Just the normal goatee type of beard.
I didn't shave for something like two weeks after that picture. Just shaved last Sunday... Took almost 1 1/2 hours... @_@ Forgot to take a picture of the before and after effects. Doh.

No, I am most definitely not metrosexual! But... I do have the spiky hair and metro-beard.
My dad always used to call it the Tom Cruise beard. You know, it's not quite a full beard, but it's a bit more than a five o'clock shadow. For reason reason ladies dig it. (Probably because of Tom Cruise, come to think of it...)

geek ( P ) Pronunciation Key (gk)
n. Slang
1)A person regarded as foolish, inept, or clumsy.
2)A person who is single-minded or accomplished in scientific or technical pursuits but is felt to be socially inept.
3)A carnival performer whose show consists of bizarre acts, such as biting the head off a live chicken
|
Taken off of dictionary.com website--now bear with me a bit here and check out the following:
Quote:
geeky adj.
Our Living Language Our word geek is now chiefly associated with student and computer slang; one probably thinks first of a computer geek. In origin, however, it is one of the words American English borrowed from the vocabulary of the circus, which was a much more significant source of entertainment in the United States in the 19th and early 20th century than it is now. Large numbers of traveling circuses left a cultural legacy in various and sometimes unexpected ways. For example, Superman and other comic book superheroes owe much of their look to circus acrobats, who were similarly costumed in capes and tights. The circus sideshow is the source of the word geek, “a performer who engaged in bizarre acts, such as biting the head off a live chicken.”
|
So all you geeks out there--just think--If your called a geek--take it to mean that that person thinks you bite the heads off of chickens--which in turns means they think you are like a circus performer--which in turn means they think you look like a comic book superhero Superman etc...
And since every woman's secret desire is to be rescued by a super hero--that person who called you a geek--actually is calling you a "chick magnet"
wheeewww...see--no wonder geeks will get the women.
Never mind---some of the women here in the office corrected me. geek is a carnival act--and super heroes came from circus acts. Also --they said geek=dork
Quote:
dork
n : a dull stupid fatuous person

Also taken from dictionary.com.
So I guess geeks aren't chick magnets. My apologies.
