I sell stuff I don't want for a lot less than market value just because I don't want it. I had a ton of dyes that I let go for super cheap. I had already dyed my armor the color I wanted. I didn't need it.
This is how they are botting in GW now. Primary Rangers are the class to be. YOu need to tame a Moa in Pre-Searing. NOW YOU NEED TO DO ITIN PRE_SEARING--this will NOT work if you tame him AFTER pre-searing don't know why--just doesn't.

that group with my petbot--love grouping with him. My friends list is maxed out now after only 3 missions he did for me. I also get a few whispers periodically from a couple of players who apparently think he is a real player.
... U are not serious.... are u... i mean.. i probably wont' ahve time to create a new ranger to do this.. but man.... u make it sounds like REAL!
It works pretty well. Just the hard part is getting the group requirements for the mission out of the way. Or screwing up and talking to the wrong NPC and completing a quest or something. It took me a long time to finally get it right--even with the directions printed out.
It works because it uses a combination of ANets streaming technology and their proto type advanced AI system. I guess the devs have been working out the bugs to get off-line player merchants going--but pushing it to the next level. You can see how advanced they are just by doing the steps to get a petbot. After you level your pet and you have to bring him by the Ambassador what you type in gen chat actually is registered by your pet and you are able to push it closer to being on its own. Also--this is the reason your storage box needs to be open before you log off. And why you need to type commands in gen chat.
Part of the new developments will probably be letting you hire an NPC to run quests for you (this will come in handy for guild leaders who want to have initiation type of quests or advancement quests for their members).
I will be working this weekend on how to open up the chat interface mod for the henchman--supposedly it allows them to actually chat with you in groupchat about different aspects of the world of guildwars--which leads to hidden quests and/or hints on how to defeat certain creatures. It will also allow you set up strategies for your henchman which they will follow as close as their AI will allow. Not sure if this one will work or not--but once I get the e-mail with the directions I will definitely try it.
