No, I give noobs(other ppl too) things. I give them valuable items that I can't or won't use. If I have a rune or a weap I don't use I don't sell it at some exhorbitant cost... no I pass it on free to someone that will actually use it. Need before greed.
I hate ppl that take advantage of others. When I see someone offering a newbie some useless item I warn the newbie & if I have a good weap or item that the person could use I give it to them instead of them buying the crappy thing. Ill go out of my way to frustrate a dishonest trader/seller.

I've only taken advantage of someone once. They were selling blue dye, offered 100G, turned around and sold it for triple a little later. Other than that I usually refrain from it.

Noobs exist to be taken advantage of.
And I don't see the big deal with dye. And besides, the price of black dye these days... (1600ish last time i checked )

No, I wouldn't do such a thing. Although the sheer amount of typos and the nonstop whining (PLZ, GIV M SUMTHIN, I WUZ HAKD AND IM NEKKID, among other cheap-ass con tricks) piss me off and make me wish that I was next to them to pour a bottle of ketchup on their head while they stand still enjoying it, or else. Newbies, OTOH, I usually help and give them stuff I don't need at all for free.

Offer to take them out into a mission, lead back some monsters, quit the mission and let him die? If hes naked should take about 10 seconds.

A useful little program.
I don't take advantage of newbs..but yesterday someone was trying to sell me a customised bow for 500gp..it took a few seconds to register that it was a zealous bow..I bought it, salvaged it and sold the string for 2.2 plat.
The fact that he would have sold it to a low level and not mentioned that it was unusable made me feel better about doing that to him.

Its a learning curve, i sold my 1st dye for 500g and felt like an asshat when i found a dye trader. I dont see any difference with buying black dyes off of n0obs than your average car dealer taking a trade in on you car. It just reflects The Real World.

Well whil playing the other day, i come across this guy jus sayin over and over "FREE **** DYE FOR THE PERSON WHO OPENS FIRST TRADE WINDOW", so of course im like yea rite...but it gets to me so i jump on it, spent 5 min findin him (idk how i couldntsee his name) go over there... and too my surprise he trades me the dye for free saying ' this is ur reward for being observant and listening to ppl, u have learned well" and im alll like 'thx man, ur the best idk y ud do this, but thx. R u crazy or jus really cool?' and he explains to me he likes to share his wealth with those who need it, so he goes on for like an hour givin 200 gp and up things away. He must have blew a fortune. So hey i was inspired, i got on my level 19 character and went to ascalon and started givin things away free too! Made me feel good inside and id give a lil inspiring speech bout sharing to the winners. Sure enough i see another guy who won sumthin from me, startin to do the same... jus goes to show one small act of kindness spreads greatly!
YAY

If i buy something from a new player and i think he/she does not want enough for it, i give more. And when i sell stuff i look that i get a ok price but not to high.
It keeps ppl happy if they get what they need for a fair/lower price now and then.
My goodness must be one of the problems that i never have more then 3k on my lvl 20 char -_-

if someone offers me items at a lower price than what it should be worth, i have no problem clicking ACCEPT in the trade window
other people would certainly do it to you if you were overpaying them for something. the other day i was doing some material trading and buying various types of materials at various prices and in various amounts, all in one trade window at the same time. i was adding it in my head. the first amount i put in actually overpaid the other guy by 500g or so. luckily i double-checked my sums in my head again and then modified to the correct price before he got paid. but my point of all this is, he certainly accepted the inflated place without a word.
in conclusion: they would do it to you if they were you, so you might as well do it to them

This is how they are botting in GW now. Primary Rangers are the class to be. YOu need to tame a Moa in Pre-Searing. NOW YOU NEED TO DO ITIN PRE_SEARING--this will NOT work if you tame him AFTER pre-searing don't know why--just doesn't.
Then you need to accept the Tydus quest to go to the Academy--and NOT complete any other Pre-searing quests after you tame your strider/moa.
Once you do that--and are in Post-Searing do the following
Do NOT have a group while doing this step!!!
--you need to level up your pet and after each time your pet levels --you need to take him to where the Ambassador is--by the little encampment. At this point--have your pet targetted and "talk to it". You need to do this in general chat--make sure you are NOT in group chat or it won't work. You need to use the following phrases periodically:
I love you (petname)
You are so good to me
You are the best pet ever
If my group dies--I do not care--as long as I have you!
You should see your pet make a neat animation ( don't worry if you miss it just stay there for at least 5 minutes real time)
After this step--you need to go into town--it does not matter which town.
Go to the storage NPC open up your storage container and say the following:
(your charactername) enter subroutine 546799 treedel 0101011101 (petname)
Type this exactly as it shows--with your name and your pet's name instead.
Once you do this--you are almost done--now you need to go tothe first mission and have a full group of players. IMPORTANT!! You cannot have any necros or rangers in this group at all--not even secondary profs. or this will not work. NOw that you are in a group and you are doing the mission--you need to do the following:
1 DO NOT DO THE BONUS MISSION__THIS WILL mess your character up!!!!
2 Bring your pet along with you--and you must not equip your bow--I would suggest having a shield only. In this mission you cannot do any damage--your pet needs to do all the damage.
3 Keep your pet alive at all costs--this is imperative--your pet must not die in this mission.
4 You must use the phrases that you used by the ambassador at least 3 times each. I suggest you spam each phrase 4 or 5 times then going to the next one.
5 complete the mission.
Congratulations--once this is completed--all you need to do now is:
1 go to a town and find the storage trader.
2 get the group you want your pet to be with--either henchman or other players
3 Highlight the quest you want your pet to do for you (they can only bot quests that have a green arrow on your radar if you are in town)
4 Open your storage box and place your armor in storage-EXCEPT your gloves and shoe pieces
5 Type in general chat:
(petname) go forth and do as I ask. My essence is your essence 01010101!!!
6 then close the GW client. DO NOT LOG OUT--you need to close it totally.
What will happen is--your pet will come up in town and immediately go with the group you had formed and will complete the quest for you.
What is nice is you will get the gear/gold and experience while you are offline!!!
The next time you log on--that quest will be done and you can have your pet go do the next one. Petbots can easily do the Altheas Ashes quest in like 20 minutes.
This is the best way to farm--and gain experience.Once I get a few more items unlocked(almost there thanks to my petbot) I wil try this with HoH--I should be able to get quite a few sigils now. You might think this is cheating--but alot of the players that group with my petbot--love grouping with him. My friends list is maxed out now after only 3 missions he did for me. I also get a few whispers periodically from a couple of players who apparently think he is a real player.
