So, given the Predator is a somehow twisted beast in his mind.
What exactly would a predator feel when he is on his hunt?
Fun and joy. They are doing this hunting bullshit out of boredom. So the Jedi would sense a well entertained being who is awfully happy about something. Would this really be as alarming as to activate the lightsabre right away?
Geez i hope the Jedi never passes some dirty down break one hour motel...

But do the Predators research their targets? If so, then they would adapt a "hunting strategy" that would overcome the Jedi advantages, such as using energy fields or cortosis-laced armor.
I'd say the Predator wins against any Jedi other than Mace, after all, he is a bad mofo.

I'm taking a long-shot here, but I'm thinking that maybe (just maybe) a Predator has no idea what a Jedi is. Yet another advantage for the Jedi in the curb-stomp of a match-up. If anything, Predator just thinks it's a pesky little human to shoot while waiting for the alien to show up.
And again, poor alien dies first.

hm interesting that no one has picked the alien, hmm i would think that the jedi would beat the alien but i think the alien is a good enough match for the predator.

If they both exist in the same universe, then not only would the Predators be aware of the Jedi, it is almost assured that the Predators would have Force-sensitive hunters.
If a Gun-Gun can be a Jedi, why can't a Predator?

Multiple broods of Aliens were defeated by Sigourney Weaver, therefore they aren't that tough.
While we're at it, Hayden Christensen punked all the Jedi, so they can't be that tough either.
Sure, Danny Glover isn't much better, but he only defeated one Predator.

apredator got his ass kicked by the governor of California--so how tough is he?
And I have to agree with Ramus--on the geek status of this thread--should get some kind of award for that, right?

*Oink* I used to watch Alien all the time when the mages around Kryta had nothing to do but steal movies and TV's from another dimension. *Snort* Being a hog, I didnt understand alot of it the first few times. However I do know one thing, since your puting the alien alone, well lets just say that cat was there in Alien when the alien was alone...
*Snort* So with all that said, the alien and the predator will be fighting, while the Jedi kills them quickly, so he starts his victory dance and hes not using his jedi senses. The cat jumps out of an open air conditioner vent onto the Jedi's head (Like a headcrab). Jedi has a heart attack and dies right there.
So you are all wrong, Jonesy wins!

Exactly... unless if they never existed in the same universe, and we didn't allow the predator to go sneaking around (if it was a cage match), the Jedi would win. If the predator was well researched and equipped, and allowed to be mobile, then predator win...
And what if both the jedi and the predator were put in the room with all those little face-clinger aliens? Nah, aliens still suck

Ok lets put in there your regular Borg drone.
pros:
-energy shield that learns
-superhuman strenght
-some times alot of nasty little devices on it that cut, rip and hurt alot
-not as easy stopped as your regular flesh and blood human
-should fool a jedi with no feelings and the thought of billion borgs
-has usually some kind of energy weapon on it
-repetive sentences that make your enemy go mad
cons:
-slow
-somewhat stupid and not too much inventive
-lame repetive sentences that would even make the audience of the battle mad
-if we go after the name it could be a IKEA furniture piece

1.) Cannot stop simple 20th Century guns (First Contact). Cannot stop someone beating them to death and/or pulling out pipes (Enterprise, "Regeneration). Cannot even stop energy weapons from 300 years previous if you simply turn up the yield (Enterprise, "Regeneration").
Also, Borg shields are proven to only adapt when they've been shot a few times first. One swing of the lightsabre is all a Jedi would need.
2.) All that strength is useless because they're so slow and lumbering. Picard whacked one with his phaser rifle, Worf killed one with a slicing dagger kind of weapon, Archer and some other idiot literally beat some to death.
3.) You can stop them with 20th Century bullets, blades, and blunt force trauma. IE. Punching them to death, or hitting them with an object. You could literally kill a Borg with a frozen baguette and live.
4.) Jedi may not sense the thoughts/feelings of the Borg, but would sense it was there. The Force flows around and through all life, and the Borg are alive.
5.) We've only ever seen the Borg use beam weapons once, and those were individual Borg severed from the hive who added the modification to be better killers.

Slow, stupid, killable with Centuries old technology and human fists. Borg dies faster than Alien does.

Since when where Predator and Jedi from the same universe? This is a match-up, ie. they are randomly transported to the same universe. There are no force-sensitive Predators.

Are you kiddin, arnold could take all these little pricks.
I still think predators self destruct device could kill all (which means draw, A.K.A. nobody whens whoever was retarded enought to point that out).
An alien could possible take on a jedi, you see the jedi dont have the super human strengh as predators to deal with an alien. If an alien sprang full speed at a jedi, that jedi is kinda screwed. Even if they manage to get a lightsaber up (which we know would not instantly kill an alien), that wont stop them from the 500 found corpse flying at them. Realisticly oone or two blows from an alien would take the average jedi out.
Which brings me to my next point, it depends on which jedi or predator we are talking about. For instance, Yoda will stand a better chance then some non jedi council warrior, or the main predator in AvP would be much more deadly then his little friends wqho died at the start.

Then who says the Force is active in the universe the Jedi is transported too? In fact, it may be a Bizzaro universe where the Force is not a cosmic omni-present energy, but instead a mustard and cheese sammich available at the local deli.

Thanks to the mod for calling me silly just because of another opinion. Way to go.
Whatever... geez, Jedis even got killed by the normal "average joe"-trooper. A blaster shot and... pooof... dead Jedi.
And you are telling me a normal being is superior to a predator? haha... no. It is all about the odds. Luck and stuff.
And the way some people are handing out new traits to the Jedi is creating gods there. As if Jedi were: Invincible, Immortal, Could turn the world to ice thinking about a fridge... you know. Ok... granted. Let your Jedis be God then. You know what will happen?
The predator just will bring his fricking Nietzsche Trophy and kill god with it.

Jedi wins, hands down. They easily dodge anything the the Alien or Predator shoots or thrwos at them. Also, most Jedi are very acrobatic, so they could jump over a predator or Alien, and slice them in half.
Jedi>>>>>>Predator>>>>>>Alien

Ya I have to agree--I was disappointed when all the Jedi's who are supposed to be badasses were systematically killed off by clone soldiers. Which is why that plus Anakin being a whiny little wussboy makes the these new Star Wars movies suck. And to be more off-topic why is it the Ewoks were way deadlier than the Wookies? I mean--why even put in the Wookies?
