I have had an example of that with a team doing the dragons lair. When we told the people to capture they forgot how to use it, so 1 person left, and then there was a slang match
"Look, that idiot went, you noob"
"oh boo hoo"
At that moment, I wa sabout to say something really nasty, but I kept it to myself
"If you don't know what a capture is, then why join with us?"
then 4 more people left! Me, Zexion and another player killed ourselves and joined a stronger party whom got to the dragon Glint, and although we couldn't kill her, it lasted a hell of a lot longer than last time!

Ten bucks says it was him letting off some steam, or just being bi-polar-ish.

Okay, I was on my secondary (Captain Pwnsalot, level 6 Me/Mo, now deleted), and we were doing (I think) Northen Wall. Anyway, we're cruising along, until we get to this part where there's a huge tar pit, with a crudload of Gargoyles and Charr duking it out. Apparently, one Einstein decides that waiting is for losers, and instead charges in. Most of the Gargoyles, as my luck would have it, start to attack me. About 6 or so gang up on me, and Ether Feast plus Orison couldn't heal me quick enough. After that, me and the guy who aggroed that had this enlightening conversation (This is what I remember of it, and I can't remember his name).
Stupid Person (SP for short): omg u suk u died!
SP: n00b!
Captain Pwnsalot: I am not a noob. How far is your main guy?
SP: Level 15! Haha u suk!
Me: Well, my guy is level 19, and a couple thousand XP away for level 20
SP: haha any1 who is not level 20 is a n00b
SP: n00b!
SP: n00b!
SP: n00b!
Player Stupid Person has left the game
Not as good as some other people's stories, but still....

I was bored. I decided to pop up at random in Serenity temple of my now 16 w/e.
I stood there, enjoying the sunrays on my recently completed wyvern set,a dyed all in blue, and thought I would turn on the local chat, since I almost always play with that shit turned off.
I wish now I hadn't bothered
Two people, in this case, were standing toe to toe, scratching. The emote for that makes me laugh in spite of how much I see it. One guy said the following:
"Naked noob looking for free runes to help guildmates.
Naked and lonely for some run-age".
I responded in open chat because I was bored, mind you:
"Walmart has them 3 for a dollar."
His reaction was not totally unexpected, but the ridiculous nature of it still makes me laugh:
"STFU U Noobsors! Smartass Scammer! OMFG Scammer! I pwn joo!"
He then proceeded to dance like Saturday Night Fever in HADES and then abruptly sat down. What was so funny was, he was so close me, a huge male warrior fellow, that his face was "undrawn" into my groin region. I stapped back, raised my fist, and then responded with "thanks for the head".
From there he ran behind me, swearing, emoting (i had stopped paying attention at this point), and then proceeded to pm me until the flood protection kicked in.
I changed to kryta again, and decided that I would leave him non-ignored, to see what lovely new phrases he would come up with next. Each day something new falls from his mindlessness.
The joy of watching another player carry a grudge is truly a thing of beauty

Well just today. This guy in amnoon oasis said in the trade channel "WTB good strength required shield" So I show him my shadow shield (16AR/*str required with -1 dmg while in stance) and he says how much. So I said 4k (highball them to start ). And he responded "No way you f*cking n00b it is worth only 165 (merchant value)". I said that merchant value doesn't mean a thing. He responded with "You don't know f**king sh1t you f**king n00b. I know more I am a higher level than you you n00b". I just laughed so ahrd because this was my second character (my other being done the game). We had a very nice flame battle back and forth, with his only consisting of n00b and faggot relations.

Oh don't worry, I said thanks to a few people and someone with "prince" said STFU at me! ..Makes you wonder if the noobs/Leeroys/Hoodies were invented before we got it
and BTW eskimobob, I think that would be about 1k or more, due to the bonuses, nothing more (well, if you still have it! )

On my most recent character I remember a 20 second trip through Ashford Abby while on my way to get a quest. The first thing that popped up in local chat was "Selling Black Dye, cheap" Followed by "Black dye cant drop in pre searing you n00b" (BTW it can, in case you weren't sure) They argued about it for a few lines, until the first guy said "F*ck off you dutch bag" and yes he spelled it Dutch Bag.
Well the other guy didn't like that, so he said "You n00b, you probably dont even know what a Dutch bag is you idiot", "I know what a dutch bag is DAMMIT!!", "Shut b*tch" And then I left, but perhaps I should've stayed, because I would like to know, what in fact is a "Dutch Bag".

I got the game about a week after release, but since I don't trust the quality of pick-up groups, I've only used henchmen the entire time I've played. Sometimes I wonder what the game would be like playing with other actual people, but after reading these I'm thinking I might be better off.

Unfortunately, you need people until you complete Thunderhead Keep, otherwise you may be unable to get to the EndStory as easily, so it is really annoying that you have to trust even the spannerheads just to get through ascention and so on... and so on.

It's not all bad news, most parties try a backup plan of using 1 or two (max 3) henchmen in the first part of the game to recieve the progression in the game. I don't say abandom them, just try and if all else fails, use a few (but not too many) henchmen

my personal tale of woe was on the ring of fire mission. Having been beaten down by fire imps repeatedly our party decided to go through the main gate. We cleared all of the enemies, destroyed the ether towers and were left facing the monk mursuurat boss. We were pounding it for ages, then suddenly i notice one of the warriors isn't fighting.
Apparently he was in a sulk because we were going through the front gate and wanted to capture a skill by going the other way. We try to explain that killing the mob that is taking us all ages would be helpful, but he continues to sulk. After a pretty long time we finally defeat it (learnt the lesson of taking interrupts now), and what does the sulker do? draw out every mob inside the gates by rushing in and getting killed.
Needless to say i quit shortly afterwards, and that player was the first (and currently only) player on my ignore list. I don't mind people disagreeing, I can take people thinking they know best, but refusing to help and sulking is worse than disconnecting.

It is, in fact, a bag made in the Netherlands.

nah, not seen anything bad or stupid happen yesterday, so... er... back onto the subject before an admin closes this!
I have had many exploits in the HoH Trials telling people to use the ALT-F4 Tactic... that always makes them look stupid and the stupid people quitting even stupider
