TTA, I'll be in Anne Arundel County watching the fireworks at (I believe) the Laurel Racetrack for 4th of July. And Moon Pies will abound.
And Inez, I have yet to find something a Moon Pie will not complement. It's true I haven't really tried, but still!

Fireworks @ the Racetrack, moonpies, and no doubt beer and fights galore.... makin me home sick too... People here in Charleston are to proper.. they eat moon pies with a knife and fork..

OK BOYS AND GIRLS ....BBQ.....i have a couple of standards
1) pork and beef ribs smoked for 4-6 hours over apple and cherry woods, then put over flame with a brown sugar BBQ sauce.
2) beef short ribs "kalbi" style with teriyaki/Jack Daniels sauce
3) beef tri tip smoked 4 -6 hours over mesquite........
i know what i'm doing this weekend
