It came from ebay!
forgive the Attack of the Show copy, but i wanted to know what is some of the stupidest, wierdest, or scariest things you've seen on ebay. I know there are stupider, but in my opinion selling stuff from games (ahem *GW*) for actual money is retarted. And buying gold, argh. It's Diablo all over agian.

Easy: Some guy tried to sell his Nintendo 64, claiming it was a Sony PSP Super Station. It even had a picture of a Nintendo 64. It sold for $320. No joke. (It was in a copy of EGM, with proof.)

The funneist thing I ever saw was a set of 1950's dentures that someone was selling.
They had written an essay about them explaining how wonderful it would be to own them and live the rest of your life in utter agony.
It took me 10 minutes to read the entire thing and I had tears streaming down my face by the time I'd finished.
I nearly almost put a bid on in congratulations for such a brilliant explaination, but I don't bid on eBay.. I win

I saw a paintball minigun and 9 Cheez-Its all stuck together in a 3x3 square. He said they were bonded by God and signed by Jesus, and that he was selling them because he needed money for college.

Doesn't really qualify for me "seeing" it per se... but there was a lawsuit for this one.
Apparently some person was selling a "brand new Dell Computer box."
Some poor soul didn't realize that the person was only selling the box and not a computer with it. Needless to say, he bought the box thinking he was getting a good Dell underprice. He bought it for around $800.
Another thing that I think is retarded for people to buy online are items and accounts from video games. A friend of mine went online searching E-Bay for "Runescape" (yes, I used to play RS *shame* *shame* ) and he came across a Runescape account for sale that still had 3 days left to bid on it. The current bid was $1200. Ridiculous...

Stupidest thing I saw was that "haunted nintendo 64" and it had the photoshopped (or....MS paint) picture of a kitty on top of it. Said that it had a cat spirit and it was scaring the owners...you all know what I'm talking about.
Got closed before it sold.
