Just cuz I have a fond affinity for lesser known car lore doesn't mean I'm that old ...

OK ... I may be older than some on these threads ... or maybe I've just watched the producer's commentary on the Back to the Future movies too many times ... seriously, Zemeckis talks about getting a letter of thanks from John Delorean about increasing the profile of his car ... right around the time he was getting indicted ... niiiiiice ...

Someone have a car DB or something where we can cross reference some top speeds and acceleration curves?

Not necessarily. If they race in reverse on a rainy day, the Toyota wins as it has the rear windshield wiper.

EDIT: And to head off the replies... anyone who owns either of those cars just might be the sort of person to race in reverse on a rainy day.
