why guys use female chars ?
i found this very odd , expecialy in a rpg game , where you are suposed to play the caracter ..
are these people gays ? travestys ?
whats the point ?
is it not playing the caracter fun ? or making others think you are a girl and then you can make them look like dumbs when they are hiting on you ?
guildwars is full of female chars that are guys , personaly i hate that.
not that i want to get married inside the game ... but you know sometimes i feel like talking to a female in the game , and the looks dont help me find one
but i was told this is not a guildwars problem , every mmorpg is full of travestis ... blarrgggg

From what I know, there are three reasons:
One: Roleplay. Some people are really into it and make a set of charictors to RP on.
Two: It's something better to look at while your playing?
Three: They honestly dont give a crap.
I dont really think it's a big deal at all. What more is it than just a moveable avatar? Only reason I play male charictors is because I recreate my old charictor from AO all the time *Shrug*.

I'm male and have 2 female characters. I'm not gay or tranvesty. I have a girl and get some on a regular basis lol. I chose to play female as female elem and female necro cuz i didnt like the avatars for the respective male professions. For my moneyEchosex got it right on the money. I have a friend that I thought was female cuz he really gets into RP, and then theres friends I have that just dont give a damn or just don't like the visual of the male avatar.

well , these people are not very smart , why dont they use girls clothing in real life ?
if they dont give a dam ?
its a matter of choice ... same thing as using a girl nick in chat programs
if you dont like the looks of male avatar , you go for a female ?
ok , i also played tomb rider , but thats a single player game ... and not rpg for sure ...

kinda big diff between game and real life there guy...basically yea, if i dont like how male avatar looks, i make female avatar of that profession. Example, Necros. The male necro looks like a friggin heroine addict, female necro still looks dark but not like shes gonna OD in a second.

not much diference if its a mmorpg
what people see of you may change the game evolves ...
using a female avatar if you are a male person , looks like you dont like to be a man in real world , and you use the mmorpg to express your selfe , looking as a female ...
if i was a doctor , i would say you are all gays ...

I sometimes (50/50) use a female avatar (being male) because its the one that turns up defualt on the creation screen. Theres no definintion on which comes up i think. I really dont give a dam that hard. And the clothes you wear in real life arent really comparable to the avatar in game. Just for example, in real life i have more than 4 sets of clothes :S
